We spent 3 nights here in October for a midweek break in Paris through Railbookers. We thought this was an excellent hotel with very friendly staff. For Paris, the room was a decent size and comfortable with TV and Ipod speakers, and fidge/mini-bar. It is a boutique hotel, so had some arty books and pictures in the lounge which made...

Stayed here for two nights during our recent trip to Europe, it’s in a good location about one k from Gard du Nord and Gare De L’Est and about 300/400m from Cadet metro. The restaurants in the 2nd arrondissment, Les Halles and even the river and Notre Dame are easily walkable. Closer by the restaurants / bars nearer the hotel...

Sweet little hotel with friendly staff. Small room with uncomfortable bed and very strange shower (no curtain so the whole bathroom was wet every time we showered). But, cute design and good location if you prefer something quiet and away from the tourists. Easy walking distance to metro and shopping plus many attractions. We enjoyed sitting at the local bistros...

For the price, I thought the hotel would be not so great, BUT when we got there we were pleasantly surprised. Stayed in another hotel the week before which cost more, but wasn't as good of a room and wasn't in as good of an area. The bathroom was large, with a nice walk-in shower. The bed was big and...

The last couple of reviews summarized the many benefits and (very very few) drawbacks well. Stay here for an excellent European 4 star (fellow North Americans, please DON'T use our NA star standards in europe...just stop.) The breakfast is lovely with mini croissants, bread, cheese, yogurt, plain crepe...served on a cutting board NOT paper (that paper is called a place...

We stayed at this hotel at the end of August. The hotel is a short taxi ride from Gard du Nord (Euro6 or so in a taxi). The hotel is a small boutique hotel, the room was very nicely decorated. All hotel rooms in Paris are small but this was a fair size for what we expected. The room and...

We had a couple of nights here in August. The room was huge and really well presented with a very 'trendy' vibe that was carried through into the rest of the hotel's decor. There was a free soft drinks and beer perk in the room fridge which was great. The staff on arrival weren't very friendly but efficient enough. There...

For a place that rates itself a 4 star establishment, I was disappointed. Had they been rated 3 star, that would have been far more appropriate and my expectations wouldn’t have been so high. The hotel is very conveniently located in the Montmarte area of Paris and is literally walking distance to such attractions as The Moulin Rouge and Sacrecour...

Dear Friends thank you for your advice, your opinion is very important to improve our services You was disappointed for A 4 star hotel but you probably make a mistake : our property is not 4 star but a very good 3 STAR hotel. I suggest you to check with your travel agent. Concerning the service it's really not possible...

Bijou accommodation as is usual in Paris. Tiny room and bathroom but clean and pleasant enough. Could benefit from a lick of paint in a few areas in the room but not a huge issue. Lack of anything in english other than news On the tv. One of those coffin like lifts which opens almost directly in front of stairs...

We've made a reservation at this hotel throught the "Hotwire" site, where you can't see the name and location of the hotel choosed until you finish the payment (than you pay less than the normal prices), so we didn't know what to expect. But the ratings here at Tripadvisor were really good, and we hoped to have a good experience....

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
