Very central to metro, trams. Which is again very central to most main attractions. Clean and quiet suburb. Some of the rooms are much more spacious than others. 2 lovely bistros around the corner. Next to a lovely park for walking and running.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel is on a quiet side street, instructions to enter by QR code are sent by email if arrival is after 8pm. Small single room with en-suite bathroom was comfortable, clean, window opened, TV worked, tiny kitchenette with fridge. Good location in south Paris near to Cite Universitaire, next to the park, 15 minute tram ride to the Expo, nice brasserie round the corner serving decent menu until late.

This small hotel in a quiet neighborhood of Paris was a pleasant surprise. Price was very reasonable, the room was clean and had a microwave, hot plate, and refrigerator along with pots pans and utensils for meal preparation, also had a decent bed and a nice window. The room is small, but that is expected in this price range, in Paris. Just note that the front desk is not open 24 hours per day, but they do email you codes to enable you to enter the property before and get into your room when the staff is not present. Highly Recommended!

Hotel Montsouris has very helpful staff. My room was comfortable and clean and I kept the balcony door open the whole time, even at night (4th level) -- a street was relatively very calm. I felt very safe there outside and inside the hotel. Little kitchen helped me a lot by saving money -- I prepared some food at home (microwave, small stove), and kept food in the fridge. There is TV and WiFi in the rooms, even a tiny balcony. A little bit less comfortable was a small table, and only three sockets in the single room. I have no other critical notices. The hotel has a good connection with RER B and Tramway 3a, very cozy and safe streets in the neighborhood, there are Franprix and Lidl nearby, good shopping options at the easy accessible Porte Orleans or Denfert-Rochereau, and with the buses 21 and 67 you can go directly to the tourist places.

Issue with the receptionist not always being available at all times. And not having a internal phone that could call the reception straight away instead of having to down physically. Other than that, the stay was perfect and the rooms were very clean and taken care of.

A basic hotel run by a very friendly / helpful manageress. Rooms are clean though a bit small and the lift (= elevator for some) a tad cantankerous. Breakfast is a bit basic, would recommend having it in a café nearby. The hotel's location is good (and quiet!) though, as is the case for all of Paris, parking is an expensive nightmare... WiFi in room was OK.

This hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood next to a park. It is out of the bustling tourist areas, but the subway and tram stations are very close by to get you to the main tourist attractions quickly. We had a two-room suite on the 6th floor. It was nice enough except we arrived in a heatwave, and there is no air conditioning (only reason for taking away a star). The hotel bought new fans the day we arrived, and that worked ok in the evenings. The restaurants nearby are very good, especially Chinchin where lots of people sit outside for drinks after the sun goes down. You can get a feel for the Parisian life staying here.

Family of 4 (3 and 5 yr old). We stayed only 1 night on our way to Bordeaux. Very small, old apartment building style hotel. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor. Again very small but clean and adequate. No AC but good airflow, although it wasn't that hot outside. Breakfast was simple and overpriced but I guess you pay for the convenience. Best part of the hotel was the very welcoming and helpful hotel's receptionist Kazan. Good pizza around the corner (Bistro 32). We took the pizza to go and enjoyed it in the park across the street. Would stay again, Vlada (Vancouver) PS if you want to experience the worlds smallest elevator, stay here.

Good hotel, with friendly service. The room was nice, not too small. Breakfast was delicious: fresh bread, croissants (like you would expect in any hotel in Paris, but still), fresh fruit and nice cheeses. However, the breakfast was not cheap: 11 euros seems pretty high. The hotel is nicely situated next to the Parc Montsouris, and only a 5 minute walk to the metro station. Therefore, within 10 minutes, you can be at the Jardin du Luxembourg for a morning run, oriwthin 20 minutes in the heart of Paris. I find the rooms to be pretty expensive, but it is still cheaper than most of Paris.

Very quiet hotel, recently renovated, best sleep in weeks, very convenient for the university and nice location next to the park. The breakfast, however, was very basic and whilst the evening shift was very friendly the day shift was not. Generally, good value for money.
