warning: the keys of one room unlocks others! as I discovered by accident, and here is how: When I arrived, I was told that my room was on the 3rd floor, room 11, and I was handed a key with a receipt - as I was alone, carrying a suitcase, I didn't check the key number, and went to the...

Stayed in this hotel last weekend, it was perfect for the occasion! It is a trendy little hotel in the Oberkampf area, which is a lively location. Lots of bars around, supermarkets and bakeries, and most importantly there are two metro stations within walking distance. The room itself was spotless, much bigger than I had expected, with a big bathroom...

Everything is fine except the steep staircase. I like the room with decent size and clean bathroom, with sufficient coffee making facilities and a huge sink if you need some small cooking. Only thing I am not sure if the location is safe as my friend has witness a fight just right in front of the hotel. Nothing happened to...

Good value for money, good location if you want to explore the local bars/restaurants/pubs. The staircase needs a major refurbishment, theres no lift and rooms on highers floors are not easily accessible. The room is basic, but clean. Free WiFi thoughout. No air condition, when we opened the windows we saw several bird nests across from our room (it was...

Dear Agata Thanks for your feedback We're working on a refurbishment for the staircase, it start next week. The birds are the big problem in Paris, we're working day by day to keep them away Kind regards VB team

The rooms are OK, clean and cozy, rooms were cleaned every day. Much noise both from pigeons in the back and the streets in front. Besides one person the staff were very friendly and speaks good English. Overall a good place to stay if you're looking for a cheap hotel. Great restaurants and bars nearby, and city centrum is just...

Great little shabby chic hotel! Very clean room, friendly and helpful staff, very reasonable prices. Perfect for a budget sightseeing trip to Paris. Very close to the metro with lots of bars, cafes and bakeries around.

I visited this hotel in March 2015, with 2 friends for 4 nights. The room and bathroom were clean, and there was also a fridge which was handy. The hotel is located in the middle of the Oberkampf area, which is full of trendy bars and clubs. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. This is a great...

We stayed in the hotel as part of an interrailing holiday over the summer. We arrived late on a Friday night and our taxi driver had a lot of trouble finding the hotel at first. Once there, and with a very tired 2 year old in tow, check in was easy enough but we then had to haul luggage, child...

My family and I stayed at Villa Bellagio in August 2014 for 3 nights. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from Menilmontant station (takes roughly 30 minutes to get into central Paris) and is just a a few minutes or so stroll to the local amenities. After a lengthy check in process with a less than competent receptionist...

I made my reservation through booking.com and was subsequently charged twice for my stay. The hotel does not have a lift, and after being told staff would help with the bags, we found this was not the case. We were given a room on the 6th floor and were forced to carry our two very heavy suitcases unassisted. The stairs...
