This small but very well run hotel is one of the best things about Paris. The rooms were comfortable, the room was spotless clean always, the views were great, and the staff were absolutely the nicest staff you could want.
It was a joy to walk into the lobby of Le Littré and be greeted by a sweet aroma that permeates all the public rooms. This hotel is a hidden gem from the busy main streets of Montparnasse and Saint Germain de Prés, a true...More

We loved this hotel! The room was purple and so chic. We had adequate storage in the closet and a big bathroom. After we got up to our room, someone brought us a welcome note, Evian water, and some macarons. We loved the windows that opened...More
The rooms are larger than you typically find in European hotels, and the staff is excellent. The decor is dated (the newly renovated entry is the exception) but charming in a way. The only downside was a mattress so old it’s concaved surface made it...More

Our small group of ladies gathered in Paris in December 2016 for a trip to Las Puces, the huge flea market. Our hotel was Le Littre, located between Montparnasse and St. Germain des Pres. A great location for us because we could walk to the...More
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

It is about a 20-40 minute walk. It is all flat and a comfortable walk. There is a on/off tour stop that will put you within 10-15 minutes from the hotel. The Paris subways system is highly effective and efficient. The hotel is, additionally, 20 minutes walk ti the louvre, Seine, and just about everything else. Unless you have walking difficulties it is a nice walk to just about every location. It is located in a great restaurant area. All this and a nice hotel with wonderful staff. Please feel free to post more questions or seek more details. I'd be happy to give you a frank opinion.
