NH Paris Opéra Faubourg is located on Rue La Fayette in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Thanks to its excellent location, many tourist attractions such as Opéra Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, Boulevard Haussmann, the Louvre, Place Vendôme and Sacré-Cœur are within a 30-minute walk. Additionally, Rue La Fayette is on the northern edge of the so-called ‘Silicon Sentier’, where many big corporations, including tech giants, have their head offices. The hotel is situated within a six-story Haussmann-style building that dates back to 1880. Within, it contains 103 guest rooms and suites of various sizes, as well as connecting rooms. The décor in these spaces is either inspired by the cult TV show series The Avengers, Pop-Art and the British style of ‘Chapeau Melon’, or by the retro tradition of the 1950s. Many guest rooms also feature a balcony that provides a stunning view of the city. It’s thought that the same views inspired Edvard Munch to paint ‘Rue Lafayette’ in 1891. Elsewhere, guests

My wife and i stayed here for 1 night to explore Paris in room 515
Upon check in our room was ready an hour and half early which was great as we were tired from commuting.
The staff were very friendly and were able to speak to us in English.
The entrance was very nice and modern and location was only around 15 mins walk from Gare Du Nord Station and around 1 hour walk to Eifel Tower which was fine with us as we like to walk the streets and explore.
The room was very nice and the bed was huge and comfortable. We loved the modern decor with the bowler hat lamp shades adding a nice touch and soft material walls!
There were coffee and tea making facilities in the room and a large desk area.
Also a flat screen tv, mostly French channels but that's ok as we weren't in the room much.
There was a wardrobe one side of the bed with hanging space and a safe inside.
The bathroom was large and clean, the shower was also very good with plenty of hot water and toiletries available.
We did not use the bar or breakfast facility at it was only a short stay but all looked nice.
Right next door there is a Pizza place that does excellent pizzas and crepes that we used as a takeaway, would definitely recommend.
Overall a very nice stay and would definitely use again.

We stayed at Best Western Opera Faubourg on a family trip. It is well located, just a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord station. This is great if stepping off the Eurostar & wanting to avoid public transport or if there are strikes. This is not the smartest side of town, but we felt perfectly safe. Sacre Coeur & Tuileries Garden were all within walking distance, which made it ideal for us.
The reception area was small but smart & the staff friendly. The rooms were quirky. We had two family rooms that were reasonably priced & comfortably accommodated three adults each. The breakfast was served in a basement room. Food was basic but good. While the hotel is a three star standard, I would book it again for value & location alone.

My partner and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights for our first trip in Paris.
We were originally given a room (503) which was in the corner of building which meant it was a bit of a weird layout. The room was dim, the carpet was musky & dirty. There was also condensation all over the windows. We could hear traffic noises because it faced a busy main road, it didn’t really bother us but if you like a quite room be mindful that even with the window shut, there was lots of sirens and traffic we could still hear.
Nonetheless that’s what we booked for and we would be out sightseeing in the day time, so we bedded down as usual. BUT for the whole night, flushing and pipe noises woke us up every 15 minutes. So first thing I n the morning, we discussed this with the staff at reception.
The gentleman we spoke to was sympathetic and kindly changed our room without hesitation, although we didn’t specifically ask to change. The new room was better. He put us into a superior double room that was a little bigger. Although still facing the front, the windows were a lot thicker and we could not even hear the main road for the next 3 nights. The room was brighter, cleaner and fresher.
Both the rooms got a little stuffy and we had to have the windows open at times.
Shampoo, shower gel, soap and hair dryer provided for.
The location was good, a few minutes away from metro stations which take you to all the tourist attractions. Lots of bars and restaurants around, large variety to choose from.

Very comfortable hotel with a perfect location to reach faster the airport (Gare du Nord is 10min walking, you can take the RER) or the city centre (a metro station is close to the hotel). In addition the area of the hotel is quite elegant and plenty of restaurants and shops.
My room was big, the bed rather perfect and the bathroom clean. Silence and comfort during the night.
Fast and efficient service at the reception.

My partner and I spent Valentine’s and a following few days in Paris. We were very impressed from the minute we walked into the hotel- the lobby was very modern with a bar and comfortable seating area. Although we didn’t use the bar, there were fantastic choices to drinks to choose from. We appreciated the water and sweet display. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. My partner speaks good French however they knew we were English and spoke English the whole time. We were given a room on the top floor (6th) and our room had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower which was incredible as at night, you could see the sky line from the window. We were greeted by a display of balloons, macarons and a personal note wishing me a happy birthday as this was a birthday trip. The room and corridors were small but it was to be expected as we bought the most basic room and it’s common for small rooms in Paris. I read prior to arrival that the road is busy and loud during the night however we had no issues with the noise although I think we are deep sleepers! The location was brilliant with only a short work to the Opera and Galleries Lafayette department store which is buzzing all day.
All in all, the hotel did everything possible to make our stay relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again perhaps even upgrade to a bigger room next time. Thank you so much Best Western Premier Opera.

We had a good size L shaped room with a sofa bed in the living space, and plenty of storage on the 3rd floor. The room and the bathroom were clean. Be aware of the rooms that are facing the interior quarters, with big windows that you cannot open due to the nonstop smell of frying oil from the restaurant situated below. It has a boutique hotel feeling, with tiny elevator, small restaurant for the breakfast that is not included in the price ( 19 euros extra per person ). We have mixed feeling about the hotel staff, most of them are not too friendly.

We had a nice 3 night stay in a queen room facing Rue La Fayette street. Windows are double pane so it keeps the noise out. Love the bed so much - we slept quite well. Location is fantastic, metro only a block away and a Carrefour grocery store in the same block. Restaurants, patisseries, boulangeries, cafes and Asian food surround the hotel. Wifi is fast and steady. Bathroom a good size with complete amenities and strong shower pressure. Flat taxi rate €37 from Orly airport. We took metro then RER train to Charles DG airport (€13 per person, 45 minute ride). Thank you Soraya for making my bday trip so special with balloons, drink vouchers and macarons! Had a really nice time in Paris and recommend this hotel!

A very good location that's about 20 minute walk with luggage to Paris's Gare de Nord, the main train station and by lots of restaurants to eat close by.
If you're willing to do a little walking ie. Within 10 minutes there are all sorts of food types that you can get from pubs, restaurants, ice cream, coffee shops, etc.
Good location pretty close to the Louvre museum and others so this is a great location that way.
Hotel is styled nicely being old and modern with rooms clean and with 6 floors. There's a small lounge un the lobby area for drinks which is cute and small. Room service is available for a small number of items to choose from.
We enjoyed the breakfasts being the best part of our stays with the great location second. This is our 2nd time here and likely will come here again.

the experience got off to a bad start at check-in, with a disastrous welcome from an unfriendly and, above all, unhelpful staff. As a titanium member of the loyalty program, I just asked if my room would already be available (it was 12:15). The answer was surprising (but early check-in for titanium members is only on paper)
I think the staff of this hotel should receive some training on how to talk to their customers.
The carpets and walls of the rooms are dirty. The cleaning is just acceptable in the bathroom and the smell of perfume is just unbearable.
I'd never go back to this hotel and I wouldn't advertise it well.

Dear Customer, Thank you for taking time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay in our hotel. Please accept our apologize if your overall experience did not reach your expectations. This is not the usual service we offer to our guests, especially regarding staff welcoming attitude, which I understand is not acceptable. As the hotel was fully booked the day before, and the check out time is 12:00, unfortunately we couldn't give the early access at your arrival at 12:15, but my team made the maximum to let you go in your room before the arrival time which is 3pm. I agree, we should explain it differently. I really hope you to reconsider the idea to stay once again in our property after the refurbishment in order to change your mind on our service. Warm regards, Salvatore - Deputy GM

The hotel needs refurbishment and the surroundings too. I haven’t seen any Covid measures taken by the personnel or guests (despite the advertisment). The rooms are actually small and the junior suite (a little bit bigger) has the view to an ugly interior court. Breakfast is minimalistic…what to say more than for the rates they have, simply don’t stay there.
