The location of the Madison Hotel is perfect for any touring, shopping or restaurants you wish to go to in Paris. The room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was great. Alexandre, the concierge, was top notch in recommending restaurants, getting reservations at restaurants in high demand and printing out daily maps so we could get around the city. We...

What a great place to stay if you want to be right in middle of, what to me is the best part of Paris; right across from Cafe de Flore & Deux Magots, a short walk to the Seine & Notre Dame etc,. At first glance, when I entered my room, it seemed more of a 3 star hotel, but...

I adored this hoel. The rooms are small but sufficient for 2 with a large king bed, very soft and comfy, pillows were fluffy, linens were soft and crisp, and street noise was minimal. The decor was lovely with velvet covered walls and a beautiful desk. My view of the church was peaceful. It's right across from the train station...

I always love reading comments like yours ! It is a real honor to be compared to a five star hotel, since the whole team is daily making efforts to offer an impeccable service to our guests. There are lots of delicious cafés and brasseries here in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, so I guess you easily found a pleasurable place to eat. I...

The hotel was centrally located in the heart of the Latin quarter. Great location. Service was excellent and the room was fantastic. Extremely quiet and well appointed. I will return when I visit Paris again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Madison Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location. I stayed at the Madison Hotel in Paris in May 2015 for 5 nights and I had a truly wonderful experience. I booked a privilege room overlooking the Church. Liked the location of the hotel but I was definitely disappointed when I saw the room. Could barely do a 360 in the room (it's tiny) and the 'courtyard was facing a wall and a big ventilation fan. Was reminded by staff that we did not have breakfast included about 3-5 times. With the prices they're offering, I expected more.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Madison Hotel, in the Latin Quarter of Saint Germain-des-Prés, is a boutique hotel in a chic, contemporary style. This delightful hotel with its 50 rooms and suites is located on the Left Bank opposite the church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and a mere stone's throw from the Seine, the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay, and the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris. The hotel rubs shoulders on the Boulevard Saint Germain with the Café de Flore and the Café de 2 Magots, at the heart of a quarter famed for its cafés, art galleries, museums, antique dealers and designer fashion boutiques. The Madison Hotel is also firmly at the heart of literary Paris... Albert Camus spent some time at the hotel in the spring of 1940, and it was here that he completed his existentialist novel "L'Etranger" (The Outsider).
