We have just returned from a weekend in Paris staying in this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were so helpful and we loved every second we stayed. The location is brilliant too. a 4/5min walk to the Louvre and 3min walk to the Tuileries metro station

We met Mattia who cheked us in and then took us to our room - he was exceptionally helpful and informative and made sure the room was to our satisfaction (it was!)

We used the pool which has a very serene feel to it - again the staff were super helpful.

I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definitely return here on our next visit to Paris.

Thank you for making our stay in Paris so enjoyable.

Pros: central location, within 10 min walking distance to Jardin de Tuileres, Louvre, Opera, Galeries Lafayette shopping mall, or Opera. Boutique shops and high end shops close by. Large landmarks (park and Vendome statue) made the area easy to navigate. There is a metro station (Tuileres) near by but we didn't take that. The concierge was very helpful/nice and would call for taxis. Free water bottles if you ask the front desk. We had a two room family suite. Consisted of two separate rooms, each with own locking doors, connected by a hallway, and a third locking door to outside hall. One bedroom had two single beds (could be pushed together to make one large queen) and an ensuite bathroom. The other bedroom had one full size (?) large bed and separate bathroom. Each room had a mini frig, coffee maker, french windows that opened to street. Worked for us 4 ladies. Breakfast was included due to Marriott status & delicious: made to order eggs/omelets, salads, roasted cauliflower, smoked salmon, smoked white fish, apples, oranges, cut fruit, croissant assortment, yogurt, granola, fresh OJ, fresh grapefruit juice, coffee made to order, cold cut meats, cheese assortments, jams, fresh baked cookies,
Cons: If you have a room with a view of the street, it's very loud from people smoking outside the restaurant/bar on 1st floor. They are outside yelling until at least 2-4 AM on a Mon/Tues night. This restaurant/bar is PACKED at night and we had to close the windows due to smoke/pot. I asked for a quiet room, high floor, and with a view. They put me on the 4th floor (high), but only rooms with views are those overlooking the street. The quietest rooms have a view of inner courtyard. I wore earplugs so didn't bother me, but other ladies woke due to noise.

We stayed here for 5 nights and found that it was in the best location possible for all the attractions we wanted to do. The hotel was very clean and like most Marriott hotels I have stayed at very comfortable. The front desk were very helpful whenever we called down or asked for assistance getting cabs etc. Only down side was the laundry service was expensive and we had just come off a cruise and needed to do some laundry so we ended up hiking 6 blocks to find a laundry facility but it was a good way to see the other side of Paris. The hotel pool and fitness area were spotless and well taken care of.

Fabulous neighborhood. Close to many cafes and shopping and very walkable area, but not on a main thoroughfare. Staff was very accommodating, and was able to get us into our rooms many hours before normal check in. Very welcome after a long night of travel. We did alert them ahead of our early arrival, which I would recommend. The only negative was we reserved rooms with a balcony and rooftop views, but with major construction right across a small street, these were unusable during the day. We were not notified of this prior. But as most visitors are out all day, this may not be a problem. The windows are double paned so the rooms were very quiet at night. The breakfasts were fantastic, as were all the staff we encountered. Overall a very nice stay.

Dear Gracieruns, Thank you for your precious feedback following your stay at Renaissance Paris Vendôme! Our neighborhood is indeed full of cultural activities, renowned restaurants and local boutiques for shopping. If you stay at Renaissance Paris Vendôme, you are half way of any place you wish to reach. If you wish to go farer, transports are as well surrounding the hotel! It is very important to us that our guests enjoy their stay as soon as they arrive. This is why your estimated time of arrival is a precious information that helps us to try to organize a room before check-in time. This is something that we cannot indeed guarantee but we are always providing our best to reach your expectations! Our balcony rooms are located on our street view, which is very nice to enjoy the Parisian architecture of the buildings in front. Some works are indeed currently in process in from of the hotel. As you say, our windows are all double paned and we are happy to suggest you another allocation if you wish on another area. Thank you for your feedback regarding the breakfast at the restaurant. At Renaissance, we work in partnership with some products provided by local boutiques. You can find our delicious pastries in a Bakery a few minutes away from the hotel! The restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh and local products that is constantly evolving through seasons! Thanks you for your detailed feedback and we would be very happy to welcome you again at Renaissance Paris Vendôme! Feel free to let us know when you plan to visit us in Paris, we would take great pleasure to organize your stay together! Warmest regards, Aude- Front Desk Supervisor

First, the location is great and the on site restaurant is a must.
However, very small king size rooms make accommodations for two with luggage very difficult.
Room service comes from the restaurant on site but you need to call reception and they order for you. Something as simple as coffee and croissants can take upwards of 40 minutes and only arrive because you have to call a second time. This happened 3 times.
Housekeeping needs to pay attention to things like empty water bottles in the room. We had eventually had 7 just to see if they would be thrown away but they were just left there on the table. Funny enough, water was not always provided when the room was straightened up so we had to ask the front desk for it. We also ran out of bath gel and hair conditioner that is supplied by the hotel. This is something that should be checked daily.
The elevator ended up being out of service -which happens. But before it was deemed out of order, I smelled sewage which they tried to cover up with very strong air freshener. Come to think of it, this may have been from the toilets being closed. One of the rooms on the street level was provided for bathroom use. Unfortunate for this to happen when the hotel was completely booked.
In addition, the wifi was constantly going on and off.
Marriott can do better.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff goes beyond expectations to make your stay more comfortable. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived. I was exhausted from my overnight flight and a horrendous delay at the airport where I had to stand in a crowd of people to get through customs for around one hour. I was so disappointed and mentioned that I wanted to take a shower so badly. I was offered use of one the showers in their spa. I had my own 2 room bathroom suit where I was able to open my suitcase, shower in privacy, and use a vanity. I felt like a new person!

After my sister arrived that afternoon, they sent us a complimentary bottle of wine to thank her for returning.

The room was small, but it was so comfortable and it overlooked a courtyard. The adjoining restaurant was perfect for breakfast, and the lobby was cozy enough to have drinks, after dinner.

And, of course, the location is perfect. We were blocks away from Place Vendome which was beautifully decked out for Christmas.

Friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed in the "Prestige, Larger Guest room" with a King sized bed and it was comfortable. Although the room was not what one might consider large, it was of decent size.

Location-wise, it's about a block or so from Jardin des Tuileries, the Louvre, the Seine and EXCELLENT shopping. The husband and I had been to Paris several times before but we decided to book Paris to do some sight seeing with my 3.5 year old as she developed a bit of a Paris obsession (Madeline books, images of Eiffel Tower etc) and had a great experience here.

Upon arrival, there was a hand written note to welcome us, complimentary bottle of wine, an Evian, chocolates and some cheese biscuits waiting for us which was a nice touch. Margiela toiletries was also a plus.

Hours after check out, I'd received an email invoice reflecting some discrepancies with the minibar purchases. We called and they took care of it immediately.

This hotel has truly amazing service from check in to every time you need anything, every time you walk through the lobby, every time you need the concierge to book something, the service is impeccable. The restaurant is wonderful. The people in the restaurant are wonderful. Truly a five star service experience with a beautiful quiet hotel. Very comfortable rooms with excellent climate control. The location cannot be beat with the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Tuileries Garden, and the Musée de l'Orangerie within walking distance.

I booked a junior suite and used my suite night upgrades and had a fantastic room. We had two little balcony windows, one in the king bed room and one in the living room area (pull out sofa). The most amazing part of the suite were the TWO bathrooms. This was a game changer for three people.
Service: The hotel was very helpful. I was curious to see how things would be coming out of the pandemic.
Cleanliness: The hotel was very clean. We could request the room to be cleaned up or call for new towels.
Marriott Status: We were offered breakfast in the restaurant. The food was very good and we had free reign of the menu. It did not feel like they were trying to cut corners or limit what you could eat. My friend loved the coffee.
Decor: The hotel was beautiful. The decor was cohesive and the hotel was filled with lovely details. The rooms were up to date and had accessible outlets.
I plan to stay again in a few months.

I debated between the Westin and this property, but the reviews convinced me and I am glad I booked the Renaissance. I appreciated the updated space and rooms. The Westin has the views, but the Renaissance was worth it. We had views of Parisian apartments and rooftops.

Parking: When I stayed it was coming out of COVID so parking was free, I am not sure if the garage is still free. The garage is walking distance in Vendome square around the corner. The parking attendant does not speak English. My parking French does not exist so I had to use google translate. The hotel street is very narrow and there was construction, but I imagine it is complete by now. There are a few parallel spots to unload your bags. The doorman was very helpful.

Service is nothing special, with all limitations implemented due to COVID. No Room Service (Uber Eats), room ok but one can feel and see signs of usage (crack in the sink, marks on the furniture...), breakfast selection ok (just ok) on paper, but it never came according to what I had asked, they would always forget something...
They didn’t ask if and at when would I like to have the room cleaned, so I forgot to mention and realized it when coming back...
At the end, it’s too expensive for the service they are providing!

Dear RubenP1822, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your comments on your last stay with us. With the current sanitary situation, we had to adjust some of our process to keep the best quality of service, and we are sorry to read that your stay was not up to your expectation. Since all the restaurants in Paris are closed, we are making sure to provide alternate solution for our guest with our room service. We also work with some renown restaurants to increase the choice for our guest. As the situation is evolving every day, we have decided to contact our guest always few days prior to their arrival to make sure they have the most accurate information before they stay with us. I stay at your entire disposal if you wish to discuss it further and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back soon. Wishing you a lovely day! Our room had the photo (about 1 m by 1m) with the woman in the sunglasses. It was not that noticeable. There was not a photo in the living room area with the pull out sofa bed.
