Right in the heart of the opera neighborhood but on a quiet back street, so great location. Room was ok, fairly small, a little worn down, bed was good, bathroom was small, but shower was good and everything was clean, Breakfast was overpriced and looked dull so I did not try it. Staff was friendly. Even though I left the...

The hotel staff was nice and helped us a lot with directions. The hotel is close to an underground station and connects you to many lines that will get you anywhere in Paris. My sister and I stayed here for a few days while in Paris and had an amazing time. The hotel was a good place to stay.

Stayed for one night in a triple room with friends. Reception very helpful but the hotel very basic . 3 guests two cups in the room ! Definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues steep stairs and a lift that barely took one person with a small case . Good central location with easy access to metro which only...

Dear Guests, We thank you for taking the time to write a review concerning your stay with us. We are happy to read that you liked the cleannes of the hotel and our service. Compared to the avarage of a three star parisian hotel, our rooms are not the smallest (aprox 14 sqm) , we would suggest for a next...

The room was very small for a family of 3 persons. we couldn't open the suitcases and the toilet was to small for one person too. There was no shower but only a bath without any detergent. We had to ask for it, as we had to ask for the toilet cleaning. Breakfast is too expensive for the choice. But...

Very helpful and friendly staff, from housekeeping to reception. Small but clean rooms. Situated in a quiet alley, near metro and the larger stores (e.g. LaFayette). The quality of the breakfast was good. This will our hotel for our next stay in Paris.

Staff - especially Jerome - were all very pleasant and helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel is in a quiet private alley. So it's quiet. It is a very short walk from one of the main boulevards and the metro, though I walk - a lot - and enjoy exploring. I found it easy to walk to the...

Others' observations about small room and elevator size are accurate. The circular staircase should be navigated with great care since some stairs are uneven. I was relieved to find a coffee/tea setup, complete with instant coffee, tea bags, creamer, sweetener and a hot-water pot. Since breakfast did not begin until 7am, this was welcome for we early risers. We found...

Within 50m from the Grand Boulevard metro station, Hotel Corona Opera is a really great base for a stay in Paris. The hotel itself is great and offers everything expected from this kind of hotel. The team is really welcoming and really helps you feel safe and sound. Definitively amongst my best hotels in Paris

European hotels can be a bit disarming at first. That is, the hotel is located in an alley... with several other hotels. The elevator did not have enough room for both us and our average amount of luggage. We had to send our luggage separately. Our room was small by U.S. standards (not European standards), and it's unclear that the...

Dear Guests, We thank you for being our clients and for choosing our hotel for your stay in Paris. We regret that you were not fully satisfyed with the stay. The lift being build after the hotel construction (19th century) could not, unfortunately, have been bigger. The size of our rooms compared to US standards are small but within the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
