The hotel has a very good and central location in Paris, but it is very noisy. You recognize the subway driving every 10 minutes below the Hotel. The breakfast is continental standard. The rooms are small and have a AC.

Dear Thomas, Please, for your next journey, come accompanied and enjoy another room… Your first and last stay at the hotel dates from November 2016 in a standard room with a large double bed use single. “The rooms are small”:NO!NO! We have several room types with different sizes for a business travel, lovers journey, family trip of 3 or 4...

I have stayed here three times and I love it. Great location, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, helpful front desk staff (all the of staff is great). The hotel is directly across from the Gare St. Lazare, near the Opéra Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, lots of restaurants, a great neighborhood overall.

Dear Teresa, It’s a real pleasure to read your positive comment, thank you very much. You highlight our central location in the heart of Paris with the various means of transport at the foot of the hotel to go to the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Orsay Museum, the Montparnasse Tower, the Sacré Coeur... Good location next to St. Lazare Metro Train Station - we had 2 rooms on different levels as no family room - basic buffet breakfast - mcdonalds restaurant around corner - great shopping centre across road for groceries - awesome Paul coffee down street - good shops in walking distance

The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable but it was rather small! For 2 people it was not enough. Breakfast was not included in the room rate, but there were many options for breakfast , Paul was just down the street and it served amazing food.

The location is perfect but the rest was poor. Room - if you wish to have a restful evening stay away from the first floors, too much noise from outside. The room was quite outdated and the walls need some serious cleaning. Breakfast- very basic offer and no bread.

this is quite a basic hotel. rooms are comfortable but air conditioning did cause problems during the week and some of the shower area's were leaking. breakfast basic, doesn't get refilled quick enough and if you decide to boil an egg, expect to wait half an hour to get done !!!!! don't get the lower floors as you can hear...

This hotel has a lot of good features--clean, comfortable rooms and a very friendly staff. Amedeo stop is right outside making all of Paris pretty easily accessible. It's also near lots of shopping if you enjoy that. The only thing that could be improved on was the breakfast. It was very much a continental offering and didn't have many hot...

Nice location, pretty clean and quiet rooms, but the hotel has bed bugs! On the second morning of our stay I was surprised to find many itchy red spots all over my body. First I thought it was an allergic reaction, but then I noticed a bed bug crawling on my bed. My daughter complained that she was bitten too....

This may be biased because we had such a wonderful experience in London, but this was just a room. The one person working the desk did not seem to care. We checked into our room and noted a smell, so we opened the window, thinking it would help. The room itself has dated, dirty wallpaper and dirt along the baseboards...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
