I stayed initially for a few days, left for another city and came back for one more night. I thought the room I stayed in initially was small, so was shocked the second one was even smaller. It was so difficult to move around. My knees got a bit of a knocking. My suitcase could barely fit the room. Breakfast...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in October as a surprise birthday present. The staff were very kind, the continental breakfast was lovely and the hotel room itself was nice and cosy.. Weird bathroom layout, I initially thought it was just a cupboard. Just perfect for us really. Would definitely stay again! Not too far from local sights...

Having checked out of the Hotel Lion, we were on our way to the airport when my wife had her bag stolen. With the Lion fully booked, the Manager called his friend at the Hotel Sophie Germain, who had one room available. When we arrived, Madame was most solicitous, and did everything to help us as we tried to sort...

Excellent hotel. Nice, clean and quiet. Very well located, not far from Denfert-Rochereau, Alésia, and General Leclerc Avenue Nice employees. Good breakfast. It is our first experience of a later check-out for free!

Thank you for your comment. Depending on our room availability, we always try to accomodate guests who arrive early, or who would like to leave a little bit late. For the days when that is not possible, we have a luggage storage area for your convenience.

This hotel is in a traditional building and the 14th. It is in very good shape, the rooms are nice and typical and size of most Parisian hotels. It is conveniently located within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the M4 and Denfert-Rochereau RER station with an abundant amount of shopping and dining options available in the immediate area....

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well furnished with modern fittings. A special...

Thank you for your fine review. We are a family-owned independent hotel, which is why there is such a friendly atmosphere in our establishment. We hope you will choose us again for your next trip to Paris.

Stayed here 3 days on business. The hotel is down a quiet street, conveniently located for the metro direct from CDG airport. The room was modern and clean, lovely walk in shower. The hotel is well located for restaurants. In this area literally every street you turn down has somewhere to eat. Felt a very safe place to be walking...

There are many good points about this hotel, many of which are covered in other reviews here. It is good value for money, clean and quiet. It is close to transport links, and it particularly handy for both Orly airport where you can get the bus straight to Denfert Rochereau, or the RER B (sud) straight from CDG airport (takes...

The Sophie Germain Hotel was entirely renovated last year. Each floor is decorated in a different color scheme, and not all floors are pictured on the web site. We tried to accommodate you the best we could, by giving you one of our larger rooms (405). Had you voiced your concern during your stay, we could have moved you to...

This place isn't fancy but it is very clean, everything is brand new and the bathrooms are nice and modern. The location is great, more of a neighborhood than a tourist zone but convienent to the bus and metro. Easy RER B train ride from the CDG airport. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful. My room...

We are happy that you did overall enjoy your stay with us. It is true that just about all Paris hotel rooms will seem a bit small by American standards. That is especially the case in the center of town, and in the classic stone buildings, most of which date from the renovation of Paris under Napoleon III between 1852...

This hotel is very modern, clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also really close to Denfert-Rochereau station and the catacombs. Other tourist attractions like the Eiffel Tower the Louvre are relatively close also. We got our room for EUR85/night which is pretty good given the location. Rooms were a bit on the small side but that didn't take away from...

Thank you, we do try to accommodate the change of travel plans of our guests, whenever our room availability allows it. Being a relatively small (32 rooms) independent hotel allows us to be flexible, and to focus more on the needs of each one of our guests.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
