I booked this hotel after having found a great deal with Expedia and great reviews on trip advisor and it was everything I hoped it would be. Although it's not centrally located, we did walk to Galleries Lafayettes and the Champs Elysees and it really wasn't far. The room was great - our was on the ground floor and although...

Just back from Paris with my boyfriend. Paris was hot in this time of the year. It's great that this hotel offers 24hr air-conditioning, which is really wonderful after a hot day out. The neighborhood of St. Georges is decent and convenient with a daily market 2 blocks away from the hotel. There're a few nice cafes and restaurants acroos...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
