We booked this hotel through Priceline and then panicked after reading the reviews posted here. But of course, once you've booked through Priceline, you're pretty much locked in, so we prepared ourselves for the worst and decided to look at it as an adventure.
we were moved to this hotel when hotel des arts (AVOID) had messed up our reservation. Du Moulin has 3 stars but although it is better than des arts (not difficult) it certainly does not deserve them. The only good thing about the hotel is...More
This was the reason that I will never use Priceline again. I entered "4 star hotel" when I made my bid....what a joke.

We travelled to the Hotel on May Bank Holiday and after a very stressful journey, we found that the staff were very helpful, the bedroom was clean and tidy. The only thing which I didn't like was above the shower in the bathroom were live...More
Got this for 4 nights fr priceline, I felt cheated. It was rated as a 3 star but it's more like a 2 star for the overall hotel, and one star for the room.

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
