Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Melia Alexander in Paris. The hotel is small with very nice rooms and is definitely a Boutique Hotel. The staff are supper friendly and even though we arrived early they had a room ready for us. The really quirky thing about this Hotel is the very small unique elevator which is...

Got there around 11am and our room was already ready. Gorgeous room, think we had the only one with a balcony, and was lovely and quiet with a nice view to the Avenue Victor Hugo. I speak French, but the staff spoke fluent English to my boyfriend, and our room was cleaned every day whilst we were out. Nice spacious...

Wonderful little hotel very friendly staff, clean & tidy room. We were over the street which was a bit noisey with the window open at night but we would definately recommend it and go back ourselves. We didnt each breakfast in the hotel but enjoyed all the bussltling cafe's within 5 minutes walk, full of Parisians. We ate both nights...

A Lovely Little Hotel! Just right for a couple on a budget! We got quite a good cheap deal on this hotel as we booked it as part of a package with Eurostar I believe. I’m not sure how much it would cost usually to book here. The hotel is in quite a centralised location. It is only a very...

Lets get this straight - I think Paris has its own hotel star system as my previous experiences in Paris "4 star hotels" has not been very encouraging. This is a nice comfortable good quality hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights recently on a deal. Our room was quite large (on the 6th floor) and the bathroom was enormous....

I agree with the previous poster on this is not a 4-star hotel that priceline tries to force. After winning the bid, I looked at reviews and hoped for the best. Upon my arrival, I was given a smoking room (we don't smoke), though in their defense, I didn't ask for a non-smoking either (i thought this is a standard...

We enjoyed our stay at the Alexander hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. While the rooms are not large and the bathroom was quite small, it was very clean and nicely furnished. The location was close to a metro stop and we took it everywhere, even with our luggage in tow. The neighborhood is very safe and clean. There...

The hotel location is good. We arrived early in the morning and left our bagagge for check in after 2:00 pm. It is hard to understand why we were given a miniscule room when we came back around 5:00 pm because we at no point hurried them for a room. There was hardly space to move about the room. Couldn´t...

My husband and I travelled to Paris for a weekend. We booked the Melia Alexander and asked for a room with a king bed or 2 double beds. When we arrived they tried to up-sell us to a larger room for 30 euro/night. Our room was a little bigger than a broom closet. We barely had room to walk around...
