This hotel is located in an excellent location! It's in the Latin Quarter. It's only a few streets from Notre Dame Cathedral, and from our room, we had a nice view of the Cathedral. It's also close to a Metro stop and RER train station. When we arrived, which was early in the morning, we had a wonderful experience with...

The Melia Colbert is on a quiet street across the River Seine from Notre Dame. With the quiet location one is able to open the windows and listen to the famed bells from Notre Dame. You can't get more quintessential Paris than that. After experiencing a wifi outage and quickly approaching a business meeting requiring an internet connection, the hotel...

My wife and I spent 9 days here in April, 2017. The staff was friendly, professional and always helpful. Our room was comfortable and impeccable every evening when we returned. The location is a block from Notre Dame and the Seine, and 2 blocks from Blvd St. Germaine. Within a 15 minute walk are the Pantheon, Sainte Chapelle, and the...

Melia Colbert is a boutique hotel in a desirable quarter. We visit every 6 months and feel at home. The rooms are comfortable clean and quiet and the hotel is within walking distance of many lesser known attractions of Paris. The staff are charming.

This hotel was perfect! Charming, quaint, quiet. Great location and it felt safe being there. The rooms are a bit smaller but it is a great value and so cute that you see past that right away. Downsides...no AC can be uncomfortable. Ask for a room fan. Also, they have room service but what they offer is extremely limited. That...

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Paloma and the rest of the front desk staff were wonderful. Hotel is on a quiet street close to Notre Dame, RER and metro. Walking distance to many sights in the Latin Quarter (close to many other sights if you enjoy walking). Room was large enough for a king bed with plenty of...

We stayed for a week at this hotel. We found the accommodations to be very good. Our only complaint was that the bed was like sleeping on the floor. I like a hard bed but this was ridiculous! Otherwise everything was quite comfortable.

Excellent. Staff very very helpful, polite, efficient. The breakfast room was charming and the food was quite good. The service in this room was excellent. My only concern was the height of the tub. The bathroom was very pretty but the tub was a little tricky getting in and out.

Ideal location to scour the city. The building and architecture are beautiful and the interior decoration is elegant. Rooms are cozy. As a slight remark, we would have liked the tea bags to be topped up, as we had a cup of tea on the first night and we didn't find new tea bags in the room on the following...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
