Although I rate this property only average I will say that the staff were excellent. The lounges, clean well designed. However, I was disappointed with the room. Firstly there were no facilities to make a cup of tea, although a well stocked fridge if you want to pay the exorbitant prices. The bed we found uncomfortable because the springs dug...

Dear Garfield_linda43, Thank you for choosing the Elysées Union for your journey in Paris. We are glad you did appreciate our staff, the services and the cleanliness of the hotel. About the facilities you should have asked at our front desk staff to provide you a kettle and they would be glad to provide you one if available. Concerning your...

Stayed in 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with kitchen - a rare find in Paris. We landed early morning, hosts had no problem giving us the keys so we could rest. Comfortable beds, clean room, excellent morning buffet breakfast (sliced meats, variety of cheese, breads, yogurts, fruit, boiled eggs, Nutella, juice and an amazing cappuccino maker!) and location was ideal...

When we got to the hotel we were put in a room that was quite small and had no view. But the woman behind the desk, who was really nice and helpful, told us that we could move the next morning if we wished. So we were moved to a much nicer room, it was a lot more spacious, had...

Loved this place, for the price the rooms were a great size and we could see the Eiffel Tower from the front door. Staff were helpful and did good nightcaps! We were very close to the Eiffel Tower and the arc de triomphe - we largely used uber to get around and everywhere was easily accessible from the hotel

We booked 3 rooms at this hotel. On check-in one of the rooms was not the twin we ordered but a bed and a sofa bed. This was never resolved, so our friend spent the entire stay on the sofa bed which is appalling. The other room was supposed to a "double bed" but the bed is one of the...

The hotel is in a great location; rooms aren't that big but typical for Paris. The staff were so nice and all spoke English and were very helpful with information on the Metro etc. especially Suzanne. There was a very good variety of food for the complimentary breakfast. We were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de...

Hotel is on the smaller side. Location wise it's close to restaurants, the Eiffel Tower and the tourist bus stop. Rooms are small but this is Europe remember. Rooms are clean and the only negative thing I would say was the room we had, that when the person upstairs when to the toilet you hear the water rushing down the...

The hotel was in a great location. The service was nice, and there was a breakfast available. We were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, and to the Arc de Triomphe. The room was tiny, but the mattress was terrible. They really need to replace it.

I'd stayed at this hotel 9 years ago and loved the location. I choose this again because of where it is situated in a quiet street just off the Rue Kleber. It has since been renovated and now has very cool rooms - essential given it was over 30 degrees. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The staff were...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
