Loved this Hotel location walking distance to most tourist attractions. The rooms were very clean. Cute blue & white room with exposed beam ceiling. Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Will return. Should be listed as 3-3.5 Star

Great location near Louvre & Opera district. Our room overlooked the Palace Theatre and a typical Parisian street with coffee shop, bar & restaurant which was frequented by locals. The Front Desk staff were very helpful. They speak English and also seem to really appreciate you trying to speak a little French. There is no gym however you have plenty...

A horrible experience -- avoid at all costs!!! I arrived and was told that there were no rooms because they needed emergency repairs and that I'd be taken care of at another equivalent quality hotel. After schlepping on foot across town, I found they'd sent me to a fleabag hotel where my room was a closet next to the manager's...

The Golden Tulip is a really nice hotel in a great location in Paris. Charming staff, very clean rooms, good air conditioning and in the perfect location to explore Paris. It may not quite be a 4 star hotel, but it is an extremely good 3 star. And only a few minutes walk to Le Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral and...

Arrived at stated time with confirmation in hand only to find hotel sold my room. Yacine (at the desk) was entirely incompetent as we were warned by another guest who had a canceled reservation. A 3rd party arrived after us with the same results. DISGUSTING business practices. Said my credit card was invalid- same one I used all week in...

My fiance and I had a terrible experience at the Hotel Washington Opera. We visited for a romantic week away, but everything seemed to go wrong during our stay. The hotel manager cannot be trusted, as he lied to us, was rude to us and overcharged us. We heard other guests at the hotel complaining and experiencing similar problems. We...

We are currently disputing a credit card fraud matter with the hotel, as I booked this 'Secret' hotel through lastminute.com and cancelled immediately after reading the terrible reviews on Trip Advisor. Upon our arrival in Paris and after organising another hotel, Hotel Washington Opera informed me they would keep the money from the ENTIRE stay, and not just the first...

We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We were disappointed how the hotel staff treat us. First of all we asked for a change of room as the room smelled as cigarrette. We were highly desappointed when the lady told us that the room was a non smoking room. Nevertheless they changed us to another room as we...

The breakfast at this hotel took forever! The dining room did not have enough tables to serve the hotel and they did not have enough women to serve. They were trying hard, but there were not enough of them to meet the demand. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The rooms were nice, but there were many...

Unlike the previous reviewers, me and my fiance stayed at this hotel and had a lovely stay. Our room was on the first floor and it had beautiful old beams in the ceiling. We also looked out over the Palace Royal Theatre which is attactive to look at. The staff were very helpful and humoured me trying to use my...
