We stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time. The hotel has a small café next to the lobby for breakfast and coffee. The staff was very nice and helpful and spoke multiple languages including English, Spanish, German, Portuguese. The rooms were small but that was expected. They offered beautiful views of the Notre Dame Cathedral and the...

The staff in the hotel was most welcoming and kind. Breakfast was good and sufficient enough to keep us going until lunchtime. The area was perfect - lively latin quartes, plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby. Our room was not big, but given the Paris standards, perfect! Most importantly the beds were comfortable, not too soft. We also had a...

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. Two different Metro lines within a block or two, the number 63 bus about two blocks away will get you close enough to the Eiffel Tower and the Orsay. Notre Dame was so close I almost felt like I should be there every day! The staff was kind and helpful. Especially Beatrice....

We loved the location of this hotel. It was easy walking distance to Notre Dame and the Luxembourg Gardens. To get to other destinations, we were able to walk to 3 different metro stations (within a block of the hotel). Beatrice was the front desk clerk, and went above and beyond with exceptional service. The continental breakfast was good, but...

Amazing experience! The staff was very helpful with directions, checking our luggage, checking in and out was very smooth. The location was excellent 8 min walk to the Norte Dame Cathedral. 15 minute taxi rides from all the popular sights in Paris. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family.

The Des Nations is in an ideal location in St Germaine and just a 10 minute walk from Notre Dame. The staff were extra friendly and very helpful and only too happy to store our luggage for the rest of the day after we checked out.

An overall great hotel, in a fantastic location in central Paris. Rooms are small but clean, tidy, and have everything you could need. Great value for money. Breakfast was included in our 3 night stay and was of good quality (the cold options were anyway). The staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond 'usual service' to make...

Just returned home after 4 nights. Friendly staff, a comfy bed, a good shower and free wifi. Also very near 2 metro lines. I also left a gift at the hotel by accident and would like to thank Marie for her help in trying to return it to me.

you want this hotel because of the friendly and welcoming staff, because of the clean and so comfort and well designed rooms (although maybe not so big, but still), because of the great location, because of the free Nespresso coffee at the lobby, the free tea and bisquites, and the overall experience is so pleasant and warm.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
