This hotel will often provide better rates than other hotels, the building is delightful, and the room comfortable; with king size beds more often than not. The but in this hotel is breakfast. On one trip it looked like a plague of locusts had descended on the breakfast area otherwise known as a coach party. This time there was no...

a four star hotel with reasonable rooms (bit old fashioned and tired) but comfortable. Desk staff very helpful. Breakfast at 25 euros, ridiculous and not very good. Bar staff very incompetant so be prepared after dinner to wait 20 minutes for a drink (they had run out of gin when we were there)! Would we go back? Yes. Because the...

The Millennium Paris Opera has a very charming art deco feel and nice rooms. Our bathroom looked a bit dated, but overall everything had an authentic high quality feel. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful to my wife and I, who barely spoke any French at all. The hotel is in a perfect central location, and if you...

I stayed again for one night. The lobby is fantastic the room on this visit was extremely comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. The bathroom had great hot water pressure. The rooms could use some updating but it is nice.

I have been staying at the Millennium Hotel, Opera Paris since 1975, usually about 4-5 times a year. It used to be called the Copthorne Commodore Hotel. As a regular and loyal guest, I have always been receiving personal attention by the reservations manager and I have been given upgrades to a more superior room, when it was available. It...

We have stayed in this hotel for a few nights in January 2014. The location is convenient and very close to a metro station even according to hk standard. Less than 10 mins walk to Lafayette, and walking distance to McDonald, Starbucks, and some other restaurants. Hotel staff are generally nice and helpful. The size of room is ok but...

Do you know, when I read some of these reviews I am convinced we have stayed at different hotels. 132 from Germany certainly had a bad experience but I would suggest that this is very rare. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. We arrived after 11pm and they even cooked steak & chips for us (it...

I stayed at the Millennium Hotel Paris Opera in December with my boyfriend in mid-December. The hotel is in such a great location! Right by the metro stop and was very close to the shops and lots of the sightseeing attractions. We walked to the Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, Norte Dame etc with ease from the hotel. The location itself is...

Good location for shopping but run down, outdated and poor condition. DO NOT leave any CASH in the room without lock away in the safe even for just for a minute or breakfast, found out my couple hundred £ got stolen after checked out on the way back to London. Very frustrating.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
