Great location near the train station and bus direct to airpot. Ideally positioned in a street with 3 theatres and a plethora of international restaurants and bars. Despite the busy street the hotel is quiet, the rooms clean and comfortable and for Paris of reasonable proportions. It would have got a perfect score if the WIFI was more than snail...

Great location but there are better hotels for a similar price. Water was almost cold at times and the toilet did not work properly. Tiny room for 2 people. Only had breakfast once as local cafes provided better value.

This was our first visit to Timhotel Tour Mountparnasse. Lovely hotel and our room was spotless and had a very comfortable bed.. Average size with quite a small bathroom . Shower over the bath and the shower door was a fixture which made it difficult to get in and out of bath. Staff at reception pleasant and helpful. WiFi hard...

I spent only one full day and night there, but found the accommodations to be great. The location couldn't be beat with many choices of restaurants and theatres in the area, and the room was a generous size with lovely furnishings. The bed was super comfortable and I slept well. I booked ahead and the price was reasonable. The street...

Loved this hotel last year. The location can't be beat for great restaurants and proximity to metro. However the VERY slow and unreliable Wifi was infuriating. The Cafe Gaite across the street saved us. Another drawback is that the key card demagnetized every day even when put in a pocket away from the cell phone. That required an extra trip...

I always stay here if I'm in Paris, after discovering the hotel a few years ago. It's small, clean and welcoming, and seems to have very good deals for advance booking. It's in a really interesting area with lots of life and good restaurants which aren't hugely expensive, good markets at the weekend. Near to 4 Metro stations and the...

The hotel is located at working distance from one of the main railway stations. Rooms are nice and really comfortable, quiet and rather large (for Paris...). Breakfast is also good and staff kind. So, just a good choice.

After reading the previous reviews about this hotel, I tried to change my booking and go to another hotel but I was too late and Jet2 couldn't move us, so we went to Paris wondering what on earth to expect! We couldn't have been more surprised! The hotel is a smashing hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Each...

Staff ok to a point. Will never return to this hotel or another Tim Hotel. Disgusting rooms, grotty, bits and pieces hanging out of the walls in room bathroom. Lobby Toilet stunk of urine and other. Holes in the carpet outside of room in hallway. Tinned food breakfast. Eggs boiled hard to a rubber texture. floury in mouth, had to...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
