The experience overall was brilliant in every sense.

The rooms are lovely, cozy and very clean. Most comfortable bed I’d ever slept in. The bathroom is spacious and cozy. Stay feels private and quiet.

Breakfast is highly recommended, great selection of homemade pastry’s, crepes, pancakes and other lighter options as well. Amazing coffee. The sitting area is cozy and spacious, allowing privacy from other guests.

Location is perfect, just off Opera, close to metro stations and shopping areas, quiet but still alive side street.

The best part of staying here is the staff. They made us feel welcome from begging to end, from the people in reception, to housekeeping, and the waiting staff during our breakfast. They are all very professional, helpful and lovely people that just make you feel like home.

I wouldn’t be looking for anywhere else to stay cause is just perfect. Looking forward to visit again!

The hotel’s location in the 9th Arrondissement is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the surrounding city for a weekend or a longer stay, as we have done. It’s extra handy in that it’s walking distance from the Roissybus terminus at Opéra, meaning getting from CDG to the hotel is easy and very inexpensive.

Booking was a breeze, contacting the hotel directly and after a short conversation they were able to send me a custom link to complete the booking on their site, which I found handy. I was contacted in the run-up to our stay with details about the Spa and Pool and always found communication courteous and helpful. Online check-in made check-in on our arrival even easier and we were given a warm welcome back and had our room in minutes.

We’ve consistently found our rooms to be spacious and comfortable, with an excellent mattress and pillow and ample bedclothes.

The double layers of glazing in any of the rooms we’ve stayed in have ensured a quiet and restful night, with the curtains blacking out light nicely in the mornings.

Seating is comfortable, with the wardrobes, safe, complimentary snacks and the coffee machine always being welcome.

Lighting is comfortable and easy to manage with switches always within reach and the added facility of USB-A and USB-C charging.

The level of cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. The bathrooms were well-appointed with a spacious shower (in some cases with the addition of a bath).

I cannot recommend highly enough that you add breakfast to your stay. The range and quality of options are superb, with two fully-specced bean-to-cup coffee machines and an array of hot plates, egg-boilers and toaster ovens all clearly labeled for use. We looked forward to the breakfasts for the entire time leading up to our return to this hotel and they delivered. A special shout-out to the kind and attentive dining room staff, who recognised us from our previous stay.

The whole team at the hotel was excellent. It was great to have such a warm welcome and be looked after so well. One member of the front-of-house team, in particular, remembered us from the previous year and just made our stay extra great. We were very happy to see another familiar face at the desk the first morning and were always greeted with a smile and a chat by them and they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This team member, their colleagues and all the reasons listed above will ensure that we plan to return to Hôtel Astra Opéra as often as we can over the next few years.

Thank you!

This hotel is ideally located near department stores, the Saint-Lazare train station, the Edouard VII theater and therefore, as its name suggests, the Garnier opera house.
It has, and this is unique in the Astotel group's offering, a spa with a magnificent swimming pool, a fairly large Sauna and Hammam which constitute real added value for the hotel.
Messi, Paul, Magalie and Anthony were all very kind, professional and attentive at reception. A special thank you to Anthony for his visit to the spa area.
The staff in the dining room and in the rooms upstairs were also very friendly, especially since we hung around a bit in the room and at breakfast.
We also thank Sylvie for her great kindness.
As for the hotel, the decoration is magnificent, very tasteful, and gives the whole thing a personal touch, a warm and pleasant home-like feel.
The sofas and armchairs are very comfortable.
We really enjoyed the alcove area at the bar.
The breakfast is excellent, particularly generous with lots of choice.
We had a room on the 7th floor dedicated to the star dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot, very nicely decorated, personalized by the dancer and very well equipped, with a lot of storage, an efficient shower system, a coffee machine and a kettle, a automatic air conditioning with very efficient touch screen. The WiFi connection is exceptionally fast. We had a smart TV compatible with Chrome cast and I believe Apple air play which gives access to a very varied choice of channels and applications.
In addition we had access to all the group's open bars with the astotour,
It was very good .
A real favorite !

Hotel very well located close to everything on foot. Newly renovated open 12/2023. Bright modern rooms.
Lounge and breakfast room, with modern and neat decoration, is very spacious (very rare in Paris) so breakfast can be enjoyed at ease without disturbing the neighbor.
Very kind staff. We will definitely return and why not try the spa which was not open during our stay…

I highly recommend ! The hotel is very well located in Paris, close to the Opera, the Galeries Lafayette and Place Vendôme.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Always attentive and very caring.

The facilities are of impeccable quality, I particularly liked the SPA, which is really very well equipped.

The room was perfectly soundproofed, the facilities are new and perfect, I appreciated the fact that USB sockets are located in the immediate vicinity of the bed, the very modern shower as well as the coffee machine.

Regarding breakfast, the hotel clearly does not neglect the quality of the food! Visitors will particularly appreciate the fresh baguettes and pastries as well as the bean-to-cup coffee machines.

In one sentence: a perfect stay!

This hotel is on a safe, small side street and has excellent noise insulation to the outside. We stayed in a superior connecting room (with swing - nice touch!) which was spacious with huge beds.
We also had a double room in addition. This was pleasant enough.
Reception staff are very pleasant.
Huge tv with large choice of channels.
Galimard bath products high smell lovely.
New bathrooms which were very clean
Excellent air conditioning which works and is super quiet.
Separate toilet (very small and a bit claustrophobic)
All in all a great choice for location, value, quiet and size of superior rooms (large by Paris standards).

Some points
- Lots of attention to detail in the room with brushed gold light switches and sockets. But then old silver handles on the bathroom doors which just clash! Not a big issue at all but it’s as if lots of thought was put into some of the design but then not into others. The circus theme decor is not to my taste, and doesn’t go with the lovely blush and gold wallpaper in the bathroom. That’s obviously just personal taste though, it has been nicely finished.
- Very generous with the minibar in room, which includes plastic Evian bottles, glass juice bottles and cans. Nowhere to separate this recycling in the bedroom - there is just one small bin under the desk where it is then mixed with all your other trash….so do they comb through it all by hand?! Or maybe not! Refillable free water would be much more eco friendly.
- Similarly in the bathroom there are large hand soap and body wash, but small plastic throwaway bottles of conditioner and shower gel.
- Corridors felt a little cramped.
- There were flies on the cakes at the free snacks during the afternoon - they are not covered, and really should be.

We just returned from a 4-night stay at Hotel Astra Opera during our Europe trip, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! Finding a hotel in Paris that accommodates 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) was a challenge, but this hotel exceeded all our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The location is absolutely ideal—just a 10-minute walk to the Louvre and steps away from amazing restaurants, markets, pharmacies, and public transportation. It’s the perfect base for exploring Paris.

The room size was fantastic, especially for Paris standards, and having enough space for our family made a huge difference. The kids adored the pool facilities—a rare and much-appreciated amenity in the city. It made their vacation even more special!

The staff were always friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. What’s even better is that the price was comparable to other hotels we looked at, yet this one offered more space, a better location, and the added bonus of a pool/dry & wet sauna. Truly a gem in the heart of Paris!

One note: the photos online don’t quite capture how great this place is. They could use more images or videos of the hotel and its facilities, but even without them, we were thrilled with our experience.

We highly recommend Hotel Astra Opera and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Don’t hesitate to book—you’ll be just as pleasantly surprised as we were!

- Location - The location is excellent, located very close to the Opera Garnier and the elegant galleries of luxury brands such as Lafayette and Printemps. In addition, you can walk to many popular attractions such as the Louvre, D'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower in about 30 minutes. For more distant locations, subway access is convenient, with a short walk. Nearby, there are a variety of restaurants and a small Carrefour City supermarket.
- Service - The staff is excellent, with friendly employees always ready to help. I highlight the exceptional work of Anthony, Massi and Ivan, who were extremely helpful during my stay.
- Cleaning / Storage - Immaculate. The room was always perfectly clean, with well-groomed beds and towels changed regularly.
- Very good. Considering the central location in Paris, the triple room in which I stayed was well designed to comfortably accommodate three people (including a child), with smart use of furniture and accessories provided. A highlight is the refrigerator refuelled daily with free water, juice and soda. The room also offers a good selection of TV channels, a safe and all the amenities expected from a high standard hotel.
- General environment - Excellent. The reception is spacious, with a simple and stylish decor, two lifts, a swimming pool and a dedicated breakfast area (available for an extra charge).
- Abstract - This hotel offers an excellent cost-effectiveness and I recommend without hesitation.

Our family of four (kids are 10 and 12 yo) had the most wonderful stay in the "family room" in a very conveniently located Hotel Astra Opera. The entire staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable and comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The large, high quality towels, robes, and slippers were an added bonus. Everyone in the family slept really well. The US-sized King bed for us and an extra big king sized bed (two large twins) made the kids stay out of each other's way. They replenished our free mini bar ever day and the breakfast and afternoon snacks were essential and delicious. We can't thank them enough and we will definitely return.
