The staff at this W has no clue on how to give good customer service. Hotel needs new management. Not even close to starwood standers. If you have never stayed at a W hotel you may think its ok. I don't know why they still have a W Hotel name. The hotel is dirty, loud noises at night, staff was...

The worst W. Hotel I have ever stayed at. There was riots and protests going on outside from hotel workers. You could not even get in the front door. After we got inside from a restaurant next-door with no help from the hotel. You could not hear anything because they were so loud. Then you could not get out of...

This hotel is in a great location in between 2 metro lines. The suite was spacious and have a great view of the Opera. The concierge was AMAZING. He went out of his way to find the Cirque Du Soleil show and find American football for us.

Stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic location, opposite the Opera house and 2 minutes walk from La Fayette retail centre, I minute walk to metro station. Room fully appointed and maintained immaculately. Staff exceptionally courteous and polite, nothing was a trouble. Restaurant and lounge cafe very comfortable but expensive. Would definitely stay again and can recommend Craig....

Brilliant location, great property with super friendly and helpful staff. Medium sized hotel which gave it an intimate and boutique feeling. Great beds/rooms and large bathroom. Couldn't have asked for more!

The W is very centrally located right by the Opera and very close to the main shopping areas and metro. It's a "typical" W experience, for better or worse depending on your preference. My room felt a bit on a small side (even for Paris), but I would say this had something to do with the furniture and layout as...

In the Starwood family, I avoid W hotels when possible: their vibe seems affected--deliberately aloof. This hotel was no exception. As platinum Starwood members, my husband + I are often fortunate enough to get upgraded to rooms with lovely views, such as the one we had here in Paris. My favorite thing about W hotels remains the Bliss brand amenities....

The W brand seems to be slipping in it's ability to produce wow. This property shows signs of wear and my "upgraded" room was about like the Le Meridien Barceona where I arrived from. This is my 15th different W stay and it definitely lacked wow, more like what-ever. The resturant was "closed" for dinner at 10:45pm and breakfast at...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
