Booked really late, didn't realise we'd stayed at the sister hotel a while back. The sister hotel was lovely, and this didn't let down either. As in most of my reviews, I focus on service as that's what grabs me. The concierge were great, both helped with parking, and assisted when wanting to leave the car a couple of extra hrs. Great face to face customer service! The room was really nicely decorated, with a full sized master bed, full sized bath with shower. Yes it's noisy outside, however all of Paris is and I've not stayed in a city centre hotel without a bit of noise. That said, it went quiet before midnight. I would definitely go back to this or it's sister hotel, in fact might book either for next visit!…
Opera hotel is strategically located in the site seeing area and loads of shop within walking distance. The lady attendant in the morning (can’t remember the name) is friendly and ready to assist. Try the Japanese restaurant next door. Rooms are small as is the case with Paris. Drinking Water is not provided in the room …
Just came back from Paris and had to write a review for this little hotel. We were there for four nights and couldn't have been happier with this place. Paris was in a heat wave and I'm so thankful we booked a hotel with air conditioning. I've been reading some of the other reviews and I feel I need to address some points others have mentioned. It's not a five star (and if you're looking for fancy decor, go somewhere else) but for me, it had everything on my list. Quiet street but centrally located. Yes. Air conditioning. Yes. Friendly. Yes. Clean rooms and quiet - Yes. Modern bathrooms with both a massive tub and shower - Yes. Free Wifi - yes. The rooms are small but no big deal. We were only there for sleeping. The beds and pillows were so very comfortable and walking into a cool room after a hot day was heaven. They had a lovely breakfast buffet but we just did the fabulous cafe (with the hot milk) and croissants. Heavenly. On our last day, the air in our room stopped working and because it was Sunday, they couldn't get it fixed. However, they immediately gave us another room and were so happy to address the problem. The staff were very friendly and I will definitely stay here again.…
I booked in for two nights at this hotel - I checked out within hours of arriving - the lift did not work, the AC was stuck on maximum heat, the hall ways smelled bad. I requested a refund for the second night of the stay offering them one night's money despite checking out without using the room. The manager took delight in denying me that option, which contractually he was able to do - thanks booking.com They offered me other rooms in the same hotel and another sister hotel - but I found the the whole experience and staff to be crummy - give it a big swerve. I chose to pay them for nothing and check into another hotel - dont make the same mistake - I am now in Hotel Brighton and it is far more agreeable.…
I don't remember ever being in such a disappointing 3 stars hotel. The single room is so tiny that you barely can have your luggage and turn around. And it gets really humid from the shower. Which by the way is the same thing with the toilet, so don't imagine you could go to the toilet after you've had a shower.…
"3 rooms per floor -2 front, 1 in back, so quiet. 3 floor is good as people queuing for Kintaro next door (best Asian food) are chatty."Read full review
"If you want to save money, walking is okay, but be in good shape. From this hotel, the Eiffel tower is a 45 minute to 1 hour walk, but wonderful sites along the way. Or, take a bus or a moto-taxi. Moto-taxi is a lot of fun; about 30 Euro."Read full review
