Stayed in this hotel with my daughter for three nights. Excellent location - near to family we were visiting, but also very convenient for central Paris, via the metro - and only a few stops from Gare du Nord for Eurostar. The area is very lively, with plenty of bars and cafes close by. We expected to be kept awake...

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel which was very reasonably priced. It was located a couple of minutes walk from the metro and bus stop. There were plenty of restaurants locally. The hotel was family run and they were most helpful. The breakfast was fresh and exactly what was needed to start the day. Would recommend for friendliness...

It is a 2 star hotel located in the good place of Paris. You might be dissapointed at the first sight you are checking in since it is not like the modern style hotel. it has no lift, the building is old, has not the formal uniform dressed staff, even they dont have card keys for the rooms. But it...

This was actually a fantastic place to stay with a lovely atmosphere. Great location close to the metro although if you're willing almost all great Paris attractions are walkable! Lots of nearby local restaurants and street vendors! The hotel itself was clean, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and able to to speak English far better than our attempts at...

Bonjour!!! I usually don't stay in 2 star hotels so I was not too sure what to expect upon arrival... However I felt this hotel was a perfect choice! It is located right beside moulin rouge, close to many restaurants, pubs, Starbucks, metros and bus stops. Yes, the hotel is maybe bit tired looking and yes, you can find few...

I arrived early and had to wait in the living room. Meanwhile, the female receptionist was on the phone, loudly criticising her colleague who had just finished his shift... What a first great impression! My room was old, the side table was broken and the small light on the desk was dirty and old. Room was very hot so I...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“I guess with a limited budget, it's impossible to have a hotel with all the things fabulous. Decide what criteria are non-negotiable for you and which are those you can leave a few days without. With your standards trimmed down to what is important, its now easier to decide on which hotel you will pick to stay. Here are my comments for this hotel.”
