Nothing encouraged using the stairs like an elevator that fits one person and one bag as well it was slow and sketchy. Nothing encourages the elevator like crappy stairs as for the buffet there was warm milk and cressants the beds were uncomfortable and the rooms were small if I were to fix the problems I would start with fixing...

This is a very nice Hotel and worked out well for our family. It is true that the rooms are small. If you wish to spend a lot of time in your Hotel room this might put you off; the bathrooms also, especially the shower areas, are quite small in some rooms. We only used the Hotel to sleep in,...

We arrived at this hotel with some trepidation having read the previous reviews. We arrived very early and immediately the reception offered to take our cases whilst we went out. When we got to the room it was very small, but the bed was extremely comfortable (we like hard beds) and the bathroom was adequate. Breakfast was a great start...

I was in Paris for a short girls weekend and we loved our stay here. The location was great for navigating the city - really close to 2 Metro stops and the main drag of Pigalle. Montmartre is just a short walk away. There were lots of restaurants and clubs, really active after dark. We has great service, everyone at...

This was our first trip to Paris, and we were SOOO disappointed with the appearance of the hotel. Very poorly maintained, smelly, room very, very small, linen disgusting. Walls and furniture need painting job. We didn't unpack our bags, we just left. We were sorry we didn't take any pictures of the room to share with other travelers.

I requested for a city view room and room they claim was city view which is called the roof top is deceiving. You have totally no pleasant view from that room. The only thing i was impress with was the bathroom which was larger than a normal paris hotel bath. I did not get good value for my money considering...

Terrible hotel, I finally got to paris and the man was like sorry we have no rooms for you even though i had paid and booked 3 months beforehand. Tried sending me to another hotel where he said i would have to pay again! Avoid this hotel and you will have a much better trip!

Thanks my smartphone, which helped us to find available room for us at other hotel (even cheaper). Even economy-class hotel seemed liked 5-star hotel after 1 night at Apolo Opera! My advice-don't think about staying at Apolo: shabby, stinking and dirty rooms. It's disrespectful to take in guests at such a place.

Nicely located unexpensive hotel. Only 10 minutes walking to Opera and 15 to Louvre. The breakfast isnt bad but you must stand at 7 to eat something. Rooms are really small and were one really bad thing - you hear all voices and sounds from corridor and another rooms. Recommend it if you stay here 2 or 3 days, not...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
