We visited this hotel as a couple last weekend for 3 nights. We were impressed with everything about the hotel. The reception area is lovely and welcoming, as were the gentleman on the front desk. We were given room 22 on the second floor which has pretty little window boxes complete with flowers - even in winter. The room was... More

We had a great stay at Hotel Vendome. We loved the renovated room, with a very good bed and clean and comfortable bathroom with a spacious (rain) shower that we liked a lot. We were lucky with a room at the back of the hotel, so it was very quiet, no noise from the streets. The only thing is that... More

On out recent trip to Paris, we stayed at the hotel two times in coming in and out of Paris. So we had two different rooms. And had two wonderful experiences. The rooms are are wonderful. They are clean and easy to get luggage stowed and move around. The beds are comfortable. Both of our rooms were quite quiet. The... More

This hotel is recently renovated, close to Notre Dame. The Staff is very nice and make all possible to help guest during the stay. Thanks Rezac!!! Offer breakfast as espresso machine and wine in the hotel reception, which is a very significant plus in Paris.

The hotel is very conveniently placed near to the Metro and a short walk from the busy Saint Germain district where there are lots of interesting bars and restaurants. We received a warm welcome, and shown immediately to our room, although we arrived earlier than the stated time. The room was not over-spacious, but quite adequate for two. The bathroom... More

Very nice little hotel with quite large and clean rooms and very good service. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from two metro stations and ten minutes walk from the river. The people working at the reception were very polite and helpful.

We stayed at this central small hotel for 4 days recently and found it close to the Metro and many reasonable restaurants. The hotel was modern, spacious, clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There was even a Nespresso machine and wine for guests to have in the foyer.

The Hotel VSG was in a great location for the metro; less than 200 meters away! There was a great variety of eateries and food shops very close to the hotel. The public areas and our room were spotless. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed in Hotel Vendome for a couple of nights with our two small children on the way back from the south of France to the UK. The hotel is in a great location for the latin quarter and right... More

This hotel is 100 times better than most of the previous reviews I have read. It has recently been refurbished and its looks great. The rooms have fast working wifi, fully working Air con which was a life saver last week when the temp was hitting the mid 30s! Spacious rooms with black out blinds and curtains. A small balcony... Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
