Hotel du Cadran receives high marks for its exceptional service, with guests often noting the staff's helpfulness and the personal touches that enhance their stay. Many visitors also rave about its superb location, which offers easy access to attractions and public transport. The cleanliness of the hotel is another point of praise, with well-maintained facilities and spotless rooms, albeit on the smaller side. Although the rooms are compact, they are appreciated for being well-appointed and contributing to the hotel's cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Amenities are generally celebrated, particularly the added convenience of local dining and shopping. Despite this, opinions on value for money do vary, with some guests finding the hotel's offerings to exceed their expectations, while others feel the price does not fully align with the amenities provided.

The Hotel arranged for transport from the Airport, 75 euro. Upon arrival, we were given a room immediately. (11 am)
Masimiliano was outstanding, as was Sabrina, and Alec and everyone else that we were in contact with at this hotel.
The location was central and exceptional. The Rue Cler shopping and cafe area was right outside our door, as were grocery and pharmacy stores.
The room was compact but very comfortable. The bed was firm and heavenly.
The spa was used twice, and was modern, clean and relaxing.
We did not use the breakfast area, but enjoyed the coffee machine daily and also the wine bar.
This small hotel is a gem, and felt like home away from home.
Tips for a great stay are the following:
Bring a noise machine, to drown out minor sounds as you sleep.
You can leave the window open, it's not too noisy at night even though you are close to cafe's and bars. (this was Jan-Feb, so that may not be true in summer)
Walk to the Seine and go to your destination (Museums, etc) from there, as the river helps you navigate your way. The side streets can be confusing, so use large avenues when possible as well.
Make sure you have some Euros in your pocket, ATM's are close by, and you can use your debit card.
If you want to see Impressionist art, skip the Louvre. It has a tiny collection, go to the D'Orsay. There is also a Monet Museum that we should have gone to instead of The Louvre.
Beautiful City, nice people, most speak English, but it's best to know some French.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel du Cadran and loved our stay here. It is a block from rue Cher where there is great food shopping and restaurants here. About a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, it is a great location in Paris that not too crowded. The renovated rooms were great but a bit small, which is are the norm is Paris. Interesting feature here is their patio bar area area where you can get a self serve wine for 5 euros a glass or 25 euros a bottle. I seen folks bring their own drinks, but you really do not need to do that here at those prices….unless you really like your own cheap wine. The service was great and really helps us out when our flight were cancelled and rebooked to ensure the taxis service and room options were available to us. We would stay here again when in Paris.

There's a lot to love about this hotel,
but there are also a lot of negatives.
First, the location of this hotel is fabulous. It is just steps away from the bustling Rue Cler and about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. The bus and the metro are also accessible.

Second, the front desk staff, Building 2 attendant, and food services staff are all amazing! Futher, the hotel serves breakfast daily, consisting of scrambled eggs, poached/boiled eggs, sausages, cereals, pastries, bread, pancakes and crepes and delicious coffee. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby throughout the day.

However, all this was overshadowed by our room experience. European hotel rooms are known to be small, but our room was beyond small. Worse,
the toilet door lock was broken - as in, it cannot be locked at all! What a joy, having a child open the door just as you are wiping yourself!  Secondly, the toilet is so close to the wall, and the toilet paper roll, so close to the toilet, that one literally cannot sit on the toilet the right way. (The toilet paper roll actually fell into the bowl once - this is how close it was to the toilet). There's no room between the toilet and the wall, for even for a child to correctly sit on the toilet. That the hotel would rent a room with a broken toilet lock, and poorly thought out layout at such a premium nightly rate is deplorable.

My displeasure continued in that our room was repeatedly entered into and cleaned, despite the do not disturb sign hanging outside the door.
In a world where COVID still lingers, there's always the possibility that the cleaning crew could spread disease from one room to the next. Our personal preference is to not have the room cleaned. Their blatant disregard for our do not disturb sign was quite upsetting and violating.

Although the location of Hotel Du Cadran is so appealing, I would definitely think twice before choosing this hotel again. Overall, it was not a bad stay, but it certainly could have been better.

We stayed for five nights in connecting rooms with our two daughters 12 & 14. The rooms and bathrooms were a great size (for European standard). The rooms had two usb ports right next to the bed for charging your phone. Great hair dryer in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with two pillows per person. There is a great coffee machine on the fire floor by the elevator to make cappuccino, hot chocolate, espresso, and many other coffees! The Rue Cler is just behind the hotel with a bakery (breakfast), restaurants, bars, macaron shops, chocolate shops and more. It’s easy (3 to 7 minute walk) to get the metro. We used the MoveIt app to navigate the metro system and walking directions between attractions super useful!

This hotel was a little gem! From the friendly staff to the cleanliness of the hotel, everything about it was amazing! We were greeted with a surprising room upgrade, this included a Nespresso coffee machine. The room was spotless including crisp fresh linen, air conditioning, mini fridge, safe and ironing facilities. The bathroom included a shower over bath with all toiletries included. Plenty of storage options with a wardrobe and shelf unit. A large tv, a radio and a speaker that had a Bluetooth connection. It’s in a great location - walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. Lots of cafes within a 5 minute walk. Supermarket across the road. Close to many bakeries, breakfast and lunch spots.
When needing to travel a little further afield, the metro stations were just a 5 minute walk away. With bus stations also located near by. Overall, a safe neighbourhood, would highly recommend!

The hotel was truly a great hotel surrounded by many cafes to choose from for all times of day including a great chocolate shop and market across the street. The staff was very friendly especially the concierge, they truly made us feel at home during our stay and I’d love to stay here again should I return to Paris! The rooms were a little small but considering a majority of rooms at Paris hotels are quite small this one was nicely spaced and well cared for by the cleaning staff. I’d recommend this place should you need a nice stay and warm welcome in Paris!

Everyone in the staff was awesome and helpful. Maximiliano at the front desk or the gray guy that always was ready to answer any questions we had for him and he was very welcoming! The hotel is at a really good location that has several small restaurants right around the corner and I was 5 to 10 minutes away from the Eiffel tower and the river. Overall really convenient location and the service was top-notch ! Recommend it to anyone that’s visiting Paris!

We stayed at Hotel du Cadran for ten nights in December 2022. We did not spend alot of time in the hotel, but the accommodations are very clean, comfortable and convenient. The hotel staff is very polite and when we needed some assistance with the in room safe, they responded within five minutes to solve our issue. The location is in the middle of Rue Cler and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Museum of the Invalides, ie the Army Museum/Napoleon's Tomb, and Rodin Museum. .

European styled room (read small) was totally offset. by a team (Sabrina, Nadia, Massi and Alex) that could not had been more accommodating, pleasant, welcoming and warm. The area was relatively quiet with easy access to many restaurants, tourist attractions (the Eiffel Tower was about a 7 minute walk from the hotel) and the Metro. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast, as is the case for many hotels we visited, could get a bit hectic but, the restaurant team did their very best to remain pleasant and attentive to the needs of all patrons.
