This hotel was the worst i've ever went. The staff was very rude, the woner was very rude and didn't care about you as a client. The room was very small, two people couldn't move at the same time, and the bathroom was very dirty.

Was very concerned after reading reviews but we had a great time here. It's not for you if you are fussy, find stairs difficult or want to be pampered. However room was clean, hot water available and breakfast for 7 euro very adequate. Yes there were stains on the carpet and the outside pane of double glazing was broken but...

Where to start?! Humidity, dirty floor mockett, the ambiance smells bad. If you want a warm (teemperature-wise) place to spend the night, it can answer your request. The receptionist was not even looking at you when you talk to her, not even smiling. Lots of negative small things make the whole experience not worth it. Internet didn't work (at our...

Booked this hotel as its included with ba flights promo. Location is ok as its close to the metro but outside the hotel is very dodgy & doesn't feel like Paris at all. Hotel rooms and hallways are very smelly & the receptionists are rude & unfriendly. I throw up everytime I come in after dinner as it smells. The...

On arrival the staff were friendly and the reception area was fine, but we were given room 51. This room was damp and had mould in all the corners. Big stains on the carpet. No curtains. Black mould all over the shower. We decided we could not stay in this room because it would be bad for your health! We...

I have stayed here 7-8 times over the last 7 years, always this time oif year, and usually it's been an acceptable hotel given the price bracket. But not this time. I'd asked for a room on a lower floor, facing the street, and with the small balcony that this hotel features, and I did get all of these. Carpet,...

The room was clean and bed comfortable. Hotel is located just next to the subway station in a quiet area. Ok standard for a reasonable price. It doesn't have an elevator, but that's not an issue if you're young and you don't have a huge luggage with you.

This hotel is in the 17th arrondissement in Paris, not a good area of the city especially during the night, but the metro station is near and the gare du Nord too and from here you can take different metro lines and train to the airport. In the hotel there's no elevator and the stairs are not so comfortable, especially...

Just got back from 2 day break 26/28th Oct, lots of mixed reviews made me a bit nervous as had a vile hotel in turkey in august.this one was fab. Yep no lift but it added to the atmosphere of Montmarte which consists of many steps. Room smallish yes but ample room for 2 in our case. Out all day...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
