Have used this hotel occasionally for our guests for over 15 years, through 3 mangers and two owners... it's a reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location on the Left Bank, literally next door to the RER which takes you to/from CDG airport in about 40 min. Close to Notre Dame and the Louvre, and right behind the hotel is...

A lovely hotel with perfect location and extremely friendly staff-for us it couldn't have been better! The rooms are big for being Paris and very cosy and clean. The hotel has a lot of character and everything we needed!

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights in November 2010. I had read the posts on tripadvisor after I had booked and I was concerned at the very mixed reviews the hotel got. The problem with this hotel is the cost for what you get. Even taking the location into account I would expect this standard of hotel to...

I planned this 3-day Paris Trip for 2+ months with indeed many details: It was our second honeymoon after 15yrs married. At first I selected a 3-star hotel in the latin Quarter, but then decided to pay more and go for this hotel being such a special occasion. I used the reviews of trip-advisor as a guide. Now I wish...

A superb location and above-average room size provided us with an excellent base for our recent 9-day stay. The view overlooking Notre Dame and the Seine was a bonus. The lively streets behind the hotel added to the location -- but never intruded on the quiet in the room. No, this is not the cheapest hotel you'll find in the...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Les Rives De Notre Dame. From the moment we arrive we were well taken care of. The front desk staff carried the luggage that wouldn't fit in the elevator up separately for us and then told us where to go for lunch. Our charming, king bed room was small by American...

This was the last night of our month long holiday - how perfect! Taner the manager was just superb, he couldn't have been more helpful. The position of the hotel is perfect - just about in the middle of the Latin Quarter. The area was humming and there are of course hundreds of places to chose from to eat, be...

We had room 9 which was on the 4th floor and overlooked the Seine. We never heard any noise from the one neighbor or from the people in the suite above. You could see Notre-Dame if you poked your head out of the room. Although the streets were very busy, you couldn't hear the traffic when the windows were closed....

This is a small hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. It was exatly as they described at a phonecall. Even though it is directly at the Quai St. Michel which ís a very busy street with closed windows it is quiet in the rooms towards the street. Also you a have a wonderful view over the Seine towards...

Our room was gorgeous, very traditional with big wooden beams, and a king size bed with a view of Notre Dame. The staff were very friendly and made great recommendations on how to get around, things to see, and places to eat (the best meal we had during our stay was at a very reasonably priced restaurant which was recommended...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
