This hotel is in a great location. You are about 10 minutes walk from the Catacombs and only a couple of minutes walk to Vavin train station. Our room was comfortable, clean and modern. The hotel staff were very friendly and greeted us every time we walked through the foyer area. They have a small restaurant which serves breakfast and...

Stayed a week in October 2016. Clean room - although small (2 twin beds), reasonable price, and great staff. We ate breakfast at the hotel each day, and it was good, but the price was unclear -- was twice what we thought it was. Still, a great experience, and we would stay there again.

When we arrived at the hotel for a romantic weekend away we was optimistic as the area seemed great and the appearance of the hotel was nice. The receptionist was lovely and directed us to our room (720). From seeing previous reviews I knew the room was going to be small but when it's so small the double bed is...

This is by far the worst hotel ever. First, the safe didn't work on our third night stay. Second, the shower leaks water. Third, when we returned to our room at night, we noticed our pajamas were on the floor. Fourth, there was NO notice to us that there was no water between 10pm to 6am. We only noticed the...

This hotel was very nice inside, the rooms were suitable for my needs. As it was a weekend sightseeing it was more of a base point to rest and sleep. Okay size rooms, double bed, bathroom with shower, had a tv, mini fridge with a complimentary bottle of water. Had room service at a fee, but never used it. Also...

Rooms are a bit small even when you book a superior room with 4 more m2 than regular rooms. The bed length was 180cm sharp. Not large as well, probably somewhere between 140 and 160 cm. The room was very clean though and its equipment modern and functional. Same thing for the bathroom. Staff is nice, and service at the...

We did not start well, we asked in advance for a room in an upper floor and they got us in the first one! So they completely ignored our request. The room is small, but it is clean and it has everything you need

We stayed here for one week, and had a great stay at this hotel. One of the biggest positives for us was the location - a one minute walk from the Vavin metro station, which led us straight in to the city centre (Île de la Cité, St. Michel and Forum des Halles). The staff were very friendly and helpful...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
