We stayed for one night here last weekend. It was a flying two day visit to Paris and we arrived early in the morning. They were only too happy to mind out bags and let us use the facilities before our rooms were ready so we could make the most of the day, and the same on our departure day....

I stayed 3 times at the Duo - November 2012 (twice) and then again on May 2013. The first time I was a little bit concerned because I usually stay at other hotels in Paris and a few reviews mentioned tiny rooms and bookings getting messed up. There was nothing I could do about the booking, except try it, but...

This is the third time staying at the Duo and all-in-all it's a fine, centrally located, clean, and relatively reasonably priced hotel in Paris. It's on the corner of Rue du Temple near the BHV department store, which is a stone's throw from Rue de Rivoli and the Seine (close to the Marais, Notre Dame, and the access to all...

Excellent location within pleasant walking distance to most-visited sites. Receptionist staff was suprisingly a disaster: one person staffed the front at any given time. Each time, he (a different person each tiem) would get overwhelmed by requests/guests. I felt bad for the front desk person: couldn't find keys, room reservations, correct information, etc. The condition of the hotel was perfectly...

I stayed at this hotel twice in less than four months and I can't stop recommending it to everyone I know. Here's why. First off, the location is unmatched. The hotel is one street above Hôtel de Ville (City Hall) with its opulent French Renaissance architecture as it sits on the spacious Place de Grève square where the French used...

I would never stay anywhere in Paris. The staff, EVERYONE, made sure I has everything I needed. They were all very nice and guest oriented. Wonderful, charming place. Beautiful, modern rooms. Comfortable hotel. Amazing staff. Thank you!!!!

It was a very welcoming and convenient hotel. The room, while small, was comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive and thoughtful. The location was great and in an area that is close to Metro and to an active night life. Also, when I left something in the room, I was able to recover it several days later.

I just stayed at Hotel Duo for the 3rd time, and it is the only hotel I will choose in Paris. The hotel is in a perfect location in the 3rd arr, very close to Hôtel de Ville, rue du Rivolli, and the Metro. The hotel itself is nicely renovated with a very modern interior and guest rooms (the rooms...

This small luxury hotel is very classy in a super location at the edge of Marais approximately across the street from Hotel de Ville. The desk was cheerful & accommodating. Housekeeping was impeccable. We were quite pleased with our stay.

This is a perfect, trendy boutique hotel. The location could not be better with access to the Metro, but also in walking distance to anywhere you might want to go in Paris. The staff were professional and helpful. Our room was delightful.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
