From the moment I was welcomed to the hotel upon my arrival until the instant I departed ten days later, I felt comfortable and settled in the Hotel Castex. Situated on a small street near the Place de la Bastille, the Hotel Castex offers five...More
The Castex Hotel is in a great location, and though small, it's really all you need as a base for all the sight-seeing and wandering around you will be doing in Paris. Close to the Metro and in a great neighborhood, you can't beat the...More
My husband and I recently visited Paris, France in May, 2009. We stayed at the Hotel Castex for 4 nights. Based on the good reviews from Trip Advisor and the fact that is was the number 1 rated hotel in its price range in our...More
The hotel may have some fine rooms, but 604 (on the first floor) is not one of them. Great location and some fine staff, save one who could barely conceal his scorn for anyone who dared ask a question. Breakfast was spare by French hotel...More

Hi Anne! 2 girlfriends and I booked and stayed in the triple room in Sept. It has a single bed downstairs, pretty steep stairs up with 2 singles in the loft. It is a pretty tiny space, but clean and comfortable. The window does have a very French view. We loved the location close to transportation, cafes, and a grocery story.
Hope this helps! Have fun!
