Nicely situated just above Jardin de Luxembourg. Quiet street, but plenty of cafes, restaurants, good sight seeing all around. Helpful, pleasant staff. Breakfast a bit expensive, but well worth it if you want more than just coffee and croissant to keep you going. My single room quite small and no chair, but I'd stay again.

Dear Michael, What a pleasure to read this nice comment about our hotel. We stayed over an autumn weekend with my husband on a wedding anniversary trip. We preferred to pay a bit more for a good location, not expecting the greatest hotel, which turned out to be the correct estimation. Upon arrival we got a backyard room on the first floor, which was disappointing as we were looking out at the garbage...

I just stayed here one night for business and was very pleased with it. The room itself was clean and pleasant if nothing special, but the lobby and breakfast room are lovely and the location is excellent. I was on the courtyard side on the 6th floor, which was exeptionally quiet for Paris. It was a bit hot in the...

Having longed for my bi-annual trip to Paris, I wasn't let down with the standard of the hotel. Breakfast slightly disappointing no fresh fruit :( also a very large crowd of students staying making too much at 5am for mine-liking! The staff are very friendly but the beds too soft and not too great for my back! Having said that...I'll...

Nice little hotel. Very good location - close til metro, restaurants, cafes, bars and the Jardin du Luxembourg. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet (12 Euros pr. person pr. morning). Fine place to stay as a tourist in Paris. PS: if you like sportcars, then buy a trip as driver in a Ferrari or Lamborghini from Place de la Concorde -...

This was our second trip to Paris, and the location of this hotel was a perfect base for experiencing central Paris. Jardin du Luxembourg, Le Marche Saint-Germain and Saint-Sulpice Church are only a short walk from the hotel. Notre Dame de Paris, Sainte-Chapelle, Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries and Musee d'Orsay are a decent walk away, but then Paris is best...

Very beautiful hotel in Paris, I stayed there for the 5th time. The location is great, the stuff is nice, the breakfast is very tasty. There is an elevator. It may be difficult to find for the first time - so make sure you have a plan with you. Good value for its money.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
