I stayed in this hotel for a week. The location is amazing - you can walk to the Lourve, the Concergerie, St Chapelle, Les Halles & numerous other attractions. The hotel is literally a step away from the Chatelet Metro Station which is a major metro line hub so you can get anywhere in paris from here very easily. For...

When I first arrived I thought the area and the hotel looked a bit dodgy, but it was actually fine. The metro station is literally at the door step, the Seine is 2 mins away, and this place is incredibly close to everything. I walked almost everywhere, and for the rest I just took the metro! The hotel itself is...

We stayed 6 nights at Hotel Flor Rivoli. The hotel has a wonderful location: just few steps from Chatelet metro station, Louvre Museum, George Pompidou Center, Notre Dame Church, Rivoli Street. The room has a basic decoration: confortable bed, TV, work desk. Our bathroom was big, with bathtub and shower. The breaksfast was good: bread, croissant, coffe, milk, juice, jam,...

Location: excellent. Just some steps from the metro station. Close to the river, Notre Dame, Louvre, Les Halles, Le Marais, Velib station, restaurants, bars, supermarket on the corner. Hotel: simple and small (4 floors). The lift/elevator can only carry 2 people. And, if they´re strangers, they won´t be any longer! Nevertheless, it worked without problems and really helped with the...

Okay, I'll give that the location is probably the only good part about this hotel. Although if youre arriving at night, the appearance is quite scary. It looks quite unsafe.. and even our almost non english speaking cab driver wanted to know if he should wait while we looked inside the hotel.. HE even thought it was bad! But we...

We have stayed here for 7 nights with my family. The hotel is small and basic, but clean with friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent .You're really in the center of the city. So expected to be a bit noisy! As we were walking a lot, we are deadly tired and we had a good sleep. Eventhough we...

I stayed for one night at the Flor Rivoli and found it to be a great value primarily for the location, which was next to the Chatelet metro stop and the shopping area of the Rue de Rivoli, as well as a couple of blocks from the Louvre. Staff was friendly and English- speaking. My room and bathroom were clean....

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
