The location is fantastic and the hotel is clean and comfortable. We had a deluxe double on the 2nd floor and there was a lot of noise from the street on Saturday night (not ideal the night before running the Paris marathon!)

We stayed here in June 2011 after readind reviews on Tripadvisor. Staff were great and very helpful. We got the exact room we had requested (unlike the previous year in a hotel in the Latin Quarter that took payment for a room type and then said it was overbooked, wrong on website, customer stayed longer etc.). The breakfast was fresh...

This hotel is in an ideal location in beautiful St Germain-des-Pres . Lots of excellent restaurants and wine bars, interesting shops and lovely churches - all within walking distance of the Seine and the centre of Paris. A very warm welcome from the hotel staff , clean, quiet and well-appointed room with efficient lift. Breakfast served in the conservatory with large...

Stayed 3 nights. Great position to tour Paris, 15 minutes walk to Louvre. . Clean modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. Ask for room overlooking courtyard which is quieter than street side. Plenty of bistro style restaurants nearby and of course the Latin Quarter which is fun to visit. Helpful staff and breakfast room (not included in price). Soundproofing...

Stayed here at the end of our honeymoon and while the location was ideal, the hotel itself was sparse and not what we were expecting. We could barely fit our luggage in the room around the bed and the decor was very dated. Everything was very clean though. Furthermore, the staff was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful which made...

Hotel La Perle is a gem tucked away on a side street in the 6th. Close to St. Sulpice, shopping, restaurants and all of those things you come to Paris to enjoy. Rooms are small but are being updated to provide for more space and excellent en-suite facilities. Brick and morter will make a building but what sets La Perle...

We were not disappointed! This is a clean and cosy hotel in a central and convenient location with staff who were at hand to assist in every possible way. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. On the second morning, the demand for breakfast exhausted the fruit supply and on the next day, the attendant...

Rooms are spacious, continental breakfast to start the day, staff very attentive and the hotel itself situated in walking distance of all the sigths Paris has to offer. Third time to Paris and would highly recommend this hotel. I booked on the net with no...

This hotel was in the Latin quarter, a great place to stay. Near the metro, within walking distance to a lot of sites, and tons of shops/ restaurants. It got a tad noisy at night sometimes, but nothing unbearable. The breakfast was great every morning and the staff were so very helpful and nice. We walked alot and always felt...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
