We stayed for one night and were very pleased. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were in a deluxe room which was quite small but the bathroom was a good size. We were on the street side so it was a little noisy but had a very sweet balcony. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The location...

What a charming boutique hotel,in the heart of Saint Germain, close the city main attractions. The bedroom and bathroom are massive and very very comfortable. There are many restaurants and cafe nearby. What I really like what this hotel is that is very cozy!!!

The rooms were charming and clean with gorgeous windows overlooking the street! The location cannot be beat...it is in the heart of our favorite section of Paris. So close to the St. Germain shopping...fabulous cafes...wonderful restaurants...and excellent sights (Notre Dame, etc...). You must have a charming breakfast in their lovely downstairs room... Love, love, loved it!

this is my second stay with hotel le regent and i wanted to add my review to the other positive ones on trip advisor. I love this hotel for several reasons; it is near everything in Paris that you need to see (steps to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Cluny, Seine riverboats, etc.),it is just across from the wonderfully French Rue...

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was as good as last time. OK the rooms are small (but so were all the other rooms we have stayed in in Paris - some smaller than this one!) Location is 500 metres from the metro Odeon on the Bld. St Germain with plenty of restaurants of all types...

My wife and I stayed at Le Regent for New Years, and completely recommend it for people like me (who do not speak French) but want a friendly hotel in hipster neighborhood. The Hotel: the staff is the main reason you come, everyone was painfully friendly...EXCEPT for one guy, on one night, who worked the overnight shift. That guy was...

Location is handy to many shops and restaurants, plus Notre Dame, the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay. Hotel website photos makes property look a lot fancier than it was in our room #61. Hard to believe in this day and age that they do not have an internet terminal available. Rooms OK for one person, very tight for two unless they...

this is a review for the Le Regent hotel at 61 Rue Dauphine in the Latin Quarter, not the other Le Regent in Montmartre which has very bad reviews. The Rue Daphine Le Regent has a great location in the Latin Quarter with reasonably priced restaurants everwhere, walking distance to museums, Notre Dame, the River Seine, etc. We stayed in...

We loved the location of this hotel. There were lots of restaurants nearby and we could walk to many sites. The metro station was a short walk away. A few doors down there was a little place to buy crepes, sandwiches, and drinks that was open at all hours. The area was very lively. We paid 230 euros a night...

We stayed here at the end of September 2010 for 3 nights after a 5 night stay at Le Bristol (a very high-end swanky hotel in the 8th). I have to say that I preferred Le Regent much more than our first hotel. The staff was excellent and helpful (esp. the night watch). The room (a superior room on the...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
