The hotel is located in the 7th arrondissement and is close to the market on Rue Cler, the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower - easily within walking distance to all three. The hotel is not cheap but for this area of Paris it offers great value for money. the rooms are simple and the beds not the best, certainly, but...

Having never stayed in that arondissement, it was good to be close to where we wanted to be (Eiffel Tower) and access to tourist boats/buses for 24 hour flying visit with a partner who had never been to Paris. I lived there many years ago - most of the staff were really friendly - including the cleaners - just one...

I have no idea how the Tulipe compares price-wise to other hotels in the area, but I certainly liked it. The rooms are very small, but have everything one needs. It is in the best area in Paris: central, clean, safe, loads of restaurants and the Eiffel tower is 5 minutes on foot. The guys at the reception are great:...

We stayed here for 3 nights on our 3 week honeymoon across Europe. The hotel has a great central location. The surrounding neighborhood is affluent with many local restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, etc. The hotel staff were accommodating, and full of humor. The hotel is definitely a gem.

We were told to request Room 7 - we did and got it (probably the best in the hotel). Great spot, very charming!

My husband surprised me with a stay at Hotel de la Tulipe in celebration of our 25th anniversary. He couldn't have chosen a lovelier place. Perfect location. Charming room. Wonderful breakfasts. Super staff with additional kudos to Daniel, who was a delight! We won't wait another 25 years to return. - K & M

My wife and I spent five nights at Hotel de la Tulipe in January 2010. We found the hotel thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast was good, but expensive, and the atmosphere was superb. You can't beat the location of this hotel. Staff were great - genuine and helpful, but not over-the-top or insincere. We had issues with chunnel and the snow and...

I booked this hotel based on recommandations from a famous french travel guide and checked in with my girlfriend as scheduled for 4 nights late December 2009. Immediatly after checking in, my girffriend and I felt the coldness of the hotel personel. Then the second day, when we went back to the hotel at night, we asked for our key,...

We stayed here recently for 4 nights and found the location to be excellent, quiet and a 7 minute walk from the RER station. There were also quite a few great small restaurants in the neighborhood and the desk staff were great to advise and reserve for us. But the room was quite small with no way for one person...

I think we had the same experience as other recent guests in that we encountered unnecessarily critical responses to some innocent questions. The hotel is very pretty and extremely well located. Some rooms are quieter than others and it is worth asking carefully in advance.
