After a busy 8 days of guest teaching MBA students in Casablanca and outside of Paris, I spent my day off in Paris at the Millesime Hotel - on a quiet street in the middle of St. Germaine du Pre area exactly where I wanted to be. It was heavenly, beginning with the two welcoming gentlemen (especially Matthew) at the...

This hotel is located on a quiet side street and was perfect for my husband and I. We were excited that we hit the jackpot with finding this on our own! It is dead quiet at night. We stayed and room 5 right off the patio and I was concerned it might get loud in the morning with people coming...

Quiet street, close to the Metro, charming cafes abound on every corner, restaurants everywhere. The room was very quiet, comfortable bed/pillows and coffee/tea making equipment in room. Friendly staff, good knowledge of the area for recommendations. Can't fault anything about this hotel. We loved it.

We stayed 2 nights at the Millesime Hotel in early August and found the rooms to very nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. The room was a standard double of adequate size but not spacious. The staff was very helpful and polite. The location of the hotel is in the 6th in a neighborhood where...

We stayed here a couple of years ago and were very impressed by the staff, facilities, service and location. I travel quite a bit and was a little apprehensive about going back, really good experiences tend to be a fluke, but I was very impressed. In a hotel that did not need it, The Millesime revamped all their rooms in the...

This is more than a 3 star hotel. It is not only in a great location handy to everything (lots of restaurants nearby, close to a lot of the tourist destinations) but it is clean, modern and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast in the basement is continental but plentiful and all you need. We had a superior room overlooking the...

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times and continue to return for a number of reasons. While we were disappointed to learn that Inga, the manager, had left the hotel, Mai and Matthieu carried on providing excellent service. The hotel has been updated since our last stay and the changes made are good. Double pane windows in particular serve to...

This is my second visit to Millesime with several years between visits. The hotel has been upgraded and the rooms are beautifully appointed in simple modern and elegant furnishings. Rooms I've stayed in have been larger than typical Parisian rooms. Hotel staff appeared very helpful but I did not request any assistance of any note. Breakfast was simple but good...

This hotel has recently had a face lift. The lobby is lovely. Great location in the 6th arr. We've stayed at their sister hotel and this is a nice less expensive alternative to the D'Aubusson. Our room number 15 was small but cottage like in a cute way. My complaint is the bed was very hard and there was a...

The Millesime was a wonderful little boutique hotel on the left bank. Our room was large and very modern but still charming. The breakfast room is darling and the service was friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect, being a 10 minute walk from Musee d' Orsay, the Louvre and Notre Dame. Saint Germaine Boulevard is a few short...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
