Location was great. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Person at front desk was very helpful with our questions and requests. The rooms were very small. Bathroom was not clean. No English TV channels.

A perfect fit for a tight budget in a petite accommodation in a great neighborhood. Tiny room fits all your needs with a lovely and helpful staff...and several metro stations and terrific food shops and restaurants with outdoor ( heated) tables and varied menus. A great stay that won't bust the bank.

This is a lovely hotel located in St Germain - close to great restaurants and an easy walk to the Notre Dame, Louvre, D'Orsay, Tuileries, etc. We have stayed here on multiple locations and will continue to return.

First of all, I would definitely stay here again. It is located in what I now believe to be my favorite area in Paris. Walking out of the hotel, you were surrounded by intriguing shops and cafes. We were only a couple blocks from the Seine, so walked virtually everywhere. Not having much experience traveling in Europe, I had thought...

I only stayed one night (September 17) at this hotel located right off the Boulevard St. Germain. It was convenient, clean and the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was reasonably priced for Paris, too. Yes, the rooms are very tiny, but with all conveniences to include a shower, TV, air conditioning, and quiet. I would very much...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
