Exactly as we expected having read previous reviews so won’t repeat all that has been said. Having said that, the location was ideal, the hotel basic but certainly with character and everything we needed – we would stay here again.
Great location in the Latin Quarter with surrounding restaurants, cafes and bars. The choice to eat something different each night was endless.
Easy walking distance to many of Paris's great monuments. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower only took 1.5hours! Who needs the metro...More
The big plus with this hotel - and its only plus in my view - is its location. It is right in the heart of St Germain des Pres on the left bank. It is surrounded by restaurants, bars and cafes and is within easy...More
Excellent location for a tourist, very close to everything. Staff was friendly. We needed two single beds, and conveniently, our room was divided by a door giving some privacy. Small, but clean. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was only baguette and coffee. Great price for the...More
I stayed in this hotel last summer on a trip with my husband and cousin. It was great! The location is amazing, close to Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre Dame, etc. There are multiple metro stops close by (Odeon and Saint Michel) and lots of cute...More
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.

I would say the easiest way would depend on how many people are in your party. We are a family of five with three children and had lots of luggage so we used a minivan taxi. We traveled from the hotel to the airport and the hotel arrange a taxi for us. There is a company that they recommended and we went with that company. The cost of the ride was about €83 and the trip to look around 40 minutes.
