This is a perfect small French hotel. We stayed 5 nights and were very well looked after. The room was small, but clean and we had both a bath and a shower and even tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast is absolutely fine and unless you want over cooked american bacon I don't think there is more this hotel...

I went here in April with 3 friends to celebrate a 50th Birthday and had a great time. The hotel was on a quiet street, so I slept very well, and it was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in the price and, although the breakfast room is small, we found a table for 4 straight away both mornings. The...

We had a great experience at the Hotel Magellan! The room was very clean and breakfast was included with the price of our room and was a great way to start the morning. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and their English came in handy when our French failed :) We walked everywhere but the hotel was very close...

I thought I had reviewed this hotel last November but I cant believe I forgot. What an amazing stay for a 3 star hotel, it really made the whole trip fantastic. I booked it because of ease of access to Beauvais airport, a shuttle bus serves Port Maillot, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Staff are excellent, friendly and...

This hotel was a one night stop for a business meeting close to Porte Champeret, and very convenient. For price paid, the standard room (across courtyard from main hotel) was OK, albeit a bit small. Everything worked, and was perfectly clean and tidy. Breakfast nothing special, and no restaurant, but plenty of locals eat out close by so some reasonably...

Room was small but clean & had it's own bathroom. Our room was on the main floor facing the courtyard which was such a pleasant spot to just sit and read or have a glass of wine & a baguette. Great location in quiet sidestreet of residential area of Paris. Helpful and welcoming staff. Pretty little garden. Quiet, comfortable and spotless bedroom. A rare find for an expensive city well known for its wide variety of service / standards / friendliness / cleanliness / value for money. We will definitely return and recommend it to others.

Paris France: Hotel Magellan I would initially have characterized this experience as very average, and upgrade it in retrospect after staying in a dump at my next stop.
