Rooms and facilities are spotlessly clean, rooms have hot & cold water, large windows, the very handy refridgerator & microwave and enough space to store luggage. I had a room with shared bathroom, but never had to wait. All bathrooms are separate, so you allways have them to yourselve. All staff i met was very friendly. The wifi is a...

After reading a lot of reviews, I expected a lot more from this hotel. We arrived on a Thursday night and the neighborhood was a little seedy. The hotel entrance was also a little sketchy. The entire hotel could use some cleaning and refurbishing. The stairs are creaky and sloping. Lights in the hallways flickered constantly. We didn't know this...

Booked this hotel through a website and selected pay at hotel option. These guys billed my card immediately which was odd. I ended up cancelling this stay and found another hotel but they wouldn't refund even though I cancelled well before the free cancellation deadline. Beware.

I stayed in this room for 2 nights and in the morning when I had to check out my partner and I woke up with bites all over our bodies that were itchy. When packing up my stuff, I actually saw a bed bug on the pillow that was red because it was full of our blood. When I went...

This place was perfect for what we wanted. Very good location beside a metro to bring you where you need to go! The staff were very friendly and helpful towards us. There is no shower or toilet in the rooms, so if this bothers you it isn't the place for you. We did not mind however and knew that before...

Pre-booked 4 nights but wasn't aware shared toilet and bathroom are on separate floor for which there are steep narrow stairs to get to. The share bathroom was grubby. I then checked other reviews which commonly mention bed bugs and paper thin walls. So we asked to cancel our booking on arrival. The manager said he would refund only one...

You can find a lot of restaurants, coffee bars, supermarkets around this hotel. Also metro is close to hotel. Room was small, but clean, friendly stuff, but they have a little bit problem with english. I was looking for good but not expensive hotel in Paris, this was the best choice. I'm satisfied.

Finding affordable-and-good accommodation in Paris can be challenging but I think we accomplished it by choosing Au Royal Mad - nothing "royal" about it though . The room was small but we had a telly and our own microwave which came in handy at the time of feeding ourselves with something better than a sandwich. Our room as on the...
