You listen everything from the other rooms inside your room.
Housekeeping should be more careful closing room doors.

Leaving Paris I took the Metro from Strassborg-St. Denis which is very close to the hotel, and went to Gare Nord train station, not too far, and then the B RER train to CDG. You can buy one ticket that let's you ride both. It seemed like the whole trip was under an hour.
