I stayed here several nights and the first night when I arrived they asked if I wanted to be moved one night to a nearby hotel and they would help with the luggage and that I should come back for breakfast here. All worked out...More

My wife and I booked into the Grand Hotel de Turin for four nights, while we were staying in Paris.
+ Great location, easily accessible from Pigalle, easy to walk towards Opera/Bourse area and the Sacre-Coeur/Montmatre, easy to access from Gard du Nord.
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

I saw young kids with their parents, so I am sure there is no minimum age. Advice...our package came with continental breakfast included, so try to take advantage of that if you can. We also used a Paris Pass, which gave us transit and museum admissions which we thought was worth it. The best part about this hotel is that it was not too "touristy" meaning you go up the small hill, and to your right, there are tons of little shops where can find lots of what you are looking for. It is also close to bus stops and metro stations so you can get to where ever you want to go. Have fun!
