I stayed here this past week, and although it was very small, it was clean, quiet, with a helpful and friendly staff. The location was good, right by the opera house, and near restaurants, shops, bus lines and the metro, so getting around is easy - on the bus, it took me about 10 or 15 minutes to get from the hotel to Notre Dane. Ann and her staff were very kind and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again! …
Hotel is close to the Opera, major shopping, the drop off and pick up point for the Roissy Bus from Charles de Gaulle, the Monoprix, the BiG Bus and the France Tourism office. They will arrange a tour for you, whatever the tour fee is, you may charge a portion-- the hotel gets a commission for the tour and will want their share in Euros. Hotel is clean, staff is super friendly, English speaking and will call a taxi with arrival times within minutes. The AC was broken, they do have a few Portable AC units but you must request one in order to get one. We had a bright, hot corner room. Ceilings are high. Breakfast is not included but is the only meal offered by the restaurant. There are three lounges, one in reception, two down a spiral staircase in the cellar. The elevator, typically European, was broken and only went to third floor. Free WiFi and a flat screen television was in our room. The bathroom is bright with push button containers of hand wash, lotion, shampoo, and wonderfully fragrant shower gel. The tub is extremely high and could cause a problem for travelers with knee or leg issues.…
What a quaint hotel. Very reminiscent of the French style . Very well located in the heart of the Opéra area which is close to La Galerie Lafayette (a stunning and huge mall, albeit costly). Many metro stops around so easy to navigate. Amazing sushi place right across the street! Careful huge portions and so delicious! Across the hotel and slight up the road is the Main Street called Augustin- here are many shops and super busy. Close by is Café de la Paix where all the stars go... quite posh from what we were told. The hotel offers a very quaint petit Déjeuner which is perfect to get you going! They make a fabulous cappuccino or café crème 😋the staff are extremely helpful and speak English perfectly. They are also great at offering advice as to where to visit and get a true feel for the beautiful city and not pay big bucks! The ONLY negative thing is that they finish making up your room extremely late in the day! We were up early and did a lot of stuff in the AM and wanted to rest up at 3pm before heading out again and the room wasn’t done... wasn’t even done by 4:30! And we were waiting in the lobby (staff knew but didn’t care much) so if you are planning on returning for a nap before dinner tell the staff. Also be prepared for small rooms but that’s expected in Paris! Au revoir 👋🏼 …
I wanted to add to my prior review. I wanted to mention Sebastien and Ann who were so extremely helpful through out our 10 day stay. They went out of their way to help us at all times. Sebastien in particular was great to talk to. We were concerned about our rooms as we had booked through a third party site and we were not getting answers from Booking.com so talked to them directly via email and they made sure all of our requests were looked after. I will recommend this place to all of my friends and family who are going to visit Paris in the next while (have several going in the next few months.). We only had the breakfast our last day as we wanted to save time but it is well worth the 15 Euro if it is not included as part of your package.…
Very disappointed , a 4 star hotel at over 350 dollars a night and no air conditioning. The hotel says they don’t turn it on before a certain date regardless of the weather . On the website it says air conditionedZ we asked a few times they said sorry we don’t turn on before June . Well it was 25 degrees today!don’t say ac if you don’t have an ac…
"Our room on the fourth floor was quiet and peaceful. I'm a very light sleeper but was well rested here."Read full review
"Lovely views from floors 4-6 of the neighboring buildings - really feels like Paris!"Read full review
"We were in 302 which is a small twin room with the beds pushed together. The toilet was in the opposite corner of the room to the bathroom which was quirky and not a problem. There is a small lift to all floors which is fitted in the middle of a spiral staircase, very French."Read full review
