The location of this hotel is hard to beat. It is steps to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Rue de Rivoli, and is near the local cafes and quiet historic streets of the Marais. Breakfast was pan-European -- cold meats and cheeses, bacon and eggs, cereal, yogurt, pastries. My rear-facing room was small, adequately furnished and quiet. And, finally,...

It was adequate. It was a suite we had on lev 5. Hardly stayed in the room except to sleep. Very close to lots of bistro's & bars. Easy walking anywhere. I wouldn't give it 4 stars, maybe 3. Like the other person said it is great for a bed in central paris.

I don't even know where to start! I was organising a work trip for 40 people (a massive task as you can imagine!), and I chose this hotel for our stay on the 13-14th August 2016 as the location was perfect for us and for what we had planned. Our rooms were lovely, absolutely no complaints from any of our...

To begin with, I must admit that hotels in Spain are much more comfortable for a given number of stars than in most countries. This hotel is a four-star but: The standard rooms are very small: they do not have even a proper wardrobe or even some drawers to keep your clothes, the bathroom is a "shower-room" (60 by 60...

Small charming and intimate hotel in the centre of the city. Recently decored and a bit garish to my liking. The rooms are well furnished, if a bit small, and the lift only holds one person at the any one time. You don't have to partake of breakfast as the hotel is situated near a variety of different types of...

My wife and I booked this for a single night. It was a last minute booking. We stayed in room 13. Our room was fine when we arrived. It wasn't anything special, just adequate. The checking in experience was great and the employee was very polite. However, the room was a little warm so we cracked a window and then...

I booked 6 nights and on 2nd morning, I saw a mouse in the breakfast cheese platter. Thursday, I told the receptionist nicely that nobody had even apologized and I was shocked. Today (Friday) still nothing. I am told that their managers are not here so they can't apologize but will try to send me an email when managers come...

Superb breakfast in hotel. There is a...

Very centrally located, rooms at the rear quiet. Rooms not to big but well kept. Breakfast ok in a well renovated cellar. It was a pity that the shower was not fixed on the wall. Reception ok. Friendly workers.

Plus points: location is amazing. Very central and literally 30 seconds from Chatelet metro. The breakfast is great with the dining area being the nicest communal space in the hotel. The service at reception was fantastic, the ladies serving breakfast were also very polite and pleasant. The hotel and room were clean. Down sides: the room was tiny (it's Paris,...

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
