Nice, confortable and friendly little hotel in the Marais, very central, within walking distance to a good "must see" spots. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its prices very reasonable. Would certainly come back.

This is in the middle of the Marais, but hotel is getting outdated with elevator tha tneeds repairs and bathroom that is really very small. Rooms need a lift-up too. Breakfast is minimal (no meat nor fresh cheeses), but only at 9euro.

We loved our stay here during our recent visit to Paris. The location was great, being so close to a metro station meant travel around Paris was really easy, and also located amongst some really lovely shops and cafes which was nice to have nearby. The room was comfortable and very clean with everything we needed, also the staff were...

This hotel is fine, clean and good value. The position is very good with Notre Dam 10 minutes walk. Louve, Sienne, Champ Eleeses, all walkable. Lots of bars and eateries around. The staff were helpful. There is tea/coffee, toiletries and hairdryer in the rooms. There is also cold water in reception (free). Eiffel Tower is about an hours walk, but...

Recently stayed at this small boutique hotel. When we arrived, the staff were efficient and very nice to deal with. The room was clean and all that you would expect from a small boutique hotel with all the necessary toiletries and hairdryer. The room is small (keep in mind you are in Paris) but adequate. Position excellent with all the...

We used airmile vouchers for this hotel so cannot comment on value for money. However, we chose it because of location - it was not too far from the Gare du Lyon - about a 10 - 12€ taxi ride - (2 stops on the metro if you haven't too much luggage). I would say the hotel is basic but...

The best stay I ever had, the most central location close to everything. Did not have to take the Metro once. Hotel exceptionally clean and tidy modern and incredibly friendly staff and management. WiFi and TV, Telephone Coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast optional. Price wise best value for money. Will be back always in future.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. Had a single room on the first floor. It was large and spacious, though the ceilings were quite low. The bathroom however was quite tiny. For the larger size of the room, the bathroom could have been larger. When using the sink, you actually are standing partially outside...

Located within easy walking distance (5-10 minutes depending on pace and traffic) of Notredame Cathedral and surrounded by cafes, very central. Room 71 is an attic room overlooking the small courtyard. Very clean modern room and bathroom. Although basic still very comfortable. Staff friendly and very helpful. Tea and coffee in room. Would happily return if going back to Paris...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
