We booked double room with shower. It was clean (don't think they were cleraning a lot during our stay, but it was ok), fresh smell, really reasonable price. Receptionists were helpful, even let us in to the room earlier:) One of night porters was obviously a bit lazy to work so told us to come back by 2am, but we...

This hostel in Montmartre was good, close to the Sacre Coeur; we got there early so we had to put our backpacks in the baggage room and get back at 2pm to get our room. We got a 4bed bedroom. Was pretty, very girly, with an ensuite bathroom with separate WC and shower. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom...

Hi guys! This hostal is nice in the common place, like the bar and the internet point. It also has a good breakfast! But the rooms are really little and there are no box to keep your stuff safe..the bathroom is also little..I think I've never seen a washbasin so little! Generally I would suggest it if you are gonna...

I travelled with my girls (14 and 11), we were happy witht the location of the hostel and checked in no problem. The room was a triple with private shower and sink but shared toilet. The toilet was 7/10 clean most of the time. Our room was not as clean as i would have liked as there were hairs still...

Awesome hostel, loved everything about it. The rooms, the people, the breakfast, location etc. The only thing is that the staff ruined my trip. The gave me false or incorrect information on everything I wanted to do on my trip and in result made me miss out on the moulin rouge. Don't trust the information they give you!!

This place is evil. The staff is racist and full of beer. They sometime smoke inside the room. There are bugs in the walls and under the bed (bedbugs). The bathroom smells like toilets. So a very romantic place for very romantic people such as those who drink all night long at the front of the hotel without discovering nothing...

My sister booked this hostel for my 21st birthday present based on the reviews being good and the location. We were both very upset and disappointed when we got there. We had a private room or should I say cupboard. There was only a slither of floor space, the toilet was in the cupboard, there was no door to separate...

Stayed there for two nights. My friend and I got a room in the 3th floor, which made it very difficult to get our bags to because the stairs are very narrow. it was really cold and the heater didn´t work. The bed was hard and the bathroom not clean at all. The good thing about this hostel is the...

This is an excellent place to stay. Situated in the Montemarte Area of Paris, just next to the Sacre Cour. The staff are brilliant. The beds are good. And the rooms are excellent. Girl or boy dorms available. I was in Paris alone and i felt really safe knowing that i lived in this hostel. 10 stars ;)

Unfortunately I would have rated the hostel higher if it wasn't for the bed bugs so please do take a moment to read the positive points before you are completely turned off. The location is great, with a nice restaurant and bakery next door and Sacre Coeur is only a short walk away. The staff when I checked in were...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
