A a business traveler I wanted to spend 6 weeks in Le Singulier, but they won't let me. They cancelled both of my credit cards three times and now I'm fed up with this arrogant & unprofessional behaviour. I've never experienced this throughout my travels(>100 hotel nights in Paris) and they refuse to respond to my emails. Goodbye Singulier I...

Veeery nice place. Very kind staff. Nice style. Great breakfast in bed! Quiet neghborhood with many nice restaurants close by. I recommend the room with the bathtub. We went for a romantic weekend and had a beautfiful stay. Can highly recommend it if you need a quiet place without too many tourists and with lots of typical french reataurants. Not...

A small and cozy hotel with an excellent garden right in the heart of Paris. Family managed, the staff makes you feel very comfortable. This little place is a gem for all who visit. The location, near Trocadero and an easy walk to Champs Elysee, is ideal. The only thing they can improve is the breakfast - we didnt eat...

A very small and cozy hotel with only 8 rooms I believe, owned and managed by a Parisian family. We spent a few days there and were treated like friends! The entire hotel has been renovated recently and all the rooms are very nicely decorated with up to date modern furniture. Each room has its specific style, which make them...

Le Singulier is a small, apparently family-run boutique hotel. The reception area, the dark stairwell and the many stairs didn’t bode well for the room. However, I’d seen photos of the suite online, and they matched the unit we had. The suite was spacious with a surprisingly beautiful bathroom – I should have photographed the bathroom as I did not...

This little place is a gem for all who visit. The location, near Trocadero and an easy walk to Champs Elysee, is ideal. The family proprietors are gracious and very accommodating. The lobby feels like a cozy-yet-chic living room, with comfortable seating and a small bar to enjoy some idle time or meet with friends. The hotel is a recent...

My husband, having researched practically every hotel in Paris, chose Le Singulier for our trip to Paris in April. He chose very well! It is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Trocadero metro stop in an upmarket area called Le Passy. The hotel is located down a side street off the main road and was incredibly quiet at night -...

This establishment for welcoming travellers defies the common definition of "hotel"; as the owners say it is a "Maison d'Hotel", a unique description defining a unique concept in providing accommodation, a friendly welcome and a serene and chic design environment in which to enjoy the respite from travel. Run by a family who had taken over the old run-down hotel...

Small boutique hotel with 8 rooms, located close to the Trocadéro square / metro stop, with great views to the Eiffel tower and good transport connections to all other sights / districts. Single rooms are small but cosy, great shower and good bed. The breakfast is awesome, coffee in Paris tend to be a challenge but here it is great,...

This is a small intimate and affordable hotel in a great central, but not touristy, neighborhood. I had stayed there twice last winter. The owner, a young girl, is always very helpful. The rest of the staff, especially the maid, is also excellent. Completely recommendable!!

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.

“One thing to note: the beds are very good ones, but quite firm. Since one of us has joint issues, we mentioned the firmness being too hard and they immediately put an extra quilt on under the bottom sheet, which took care of the problem.”
