Stayed in this hotel for two nights in a quadruple room. Hotel is small and clean, very friendly staff and great location. We didnt include breakfast but great cafes and bakerys right at your door step, the prices of food and coffee aren't expensive either. Montmartre is a beautiful area it's a must see in Paris. Beautiful little cobbled streets and...

I love this hotel, my room was small but adequate. My radiator was awful as making so much noise. I reported it to reception and was fixed ASAP. Wifi in this hotel is dreadful! Yes it's free, but rarely does it work. I had to use my UK data which cost me. Very poor wifi in this day and age...

This is a nice little hotel with small, clean rooms in a fabulous location; there is a petit lobby with a sitting area supplied with books & info; the staff is extremely helpful & professional. We don't spend alot of time in our rooms when visiting Paris....we'd rather be out walking the neighborhoods & sitting in sidewalk cafes. This is...

Well there are some good points to be sure: The location is great. You can walk a few paces from the hotel door and find yourself in Rue Lepic, which is as authentic a parisian street as you are likely to find, with boulangeries and boucheries, and estate agents selling eye-wateringly expensive appartements. It can only be 100m or so...

We were so happy with the location of this hotel, lots of restaurants and shops close by and metro station an easy walk. The hotel itself was clean and presentable, the bed very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was small as expected from reading other reviews, but this wasn't a problem. We had a lovely bathroom....

Really comfortable beds. 24 hour reception with nice reception staff. free wifi available and you could have a breakfast if you wanted. Location brilliant. 2 minute walk from traditional French restaurants a super market...

We were traveling with two adults and two teenagers. We chose this hotel since they could accommodate 4 people in one room. The bathroom had a large corner tub with a sprayer but not a shower (we made it work) and two sinks. The room had two twin beds, a privacy wall, a queen bed and a closet/dressing area off...

The hotel was quite decent. We had a triple room, small but adequate. The bathroom was clean, the shower would leak out into the bathroom. There is no air conditioning so windows much be kept open. You hear everything...especially the staff arguing with others. Breakfast was 9 Euro, we went to the cafe on the corner.

My boyfriend and I both live in the suburbs, and so we were looking to stay some place affordable for a few nights in the city. I love Montmartre, and came across the Pavillon while looking for a hotel in the area. Rooms were very affordable, so I grabbed it. Check-in was easy and staff was friendly. The room was...

Whilst the hotel was decent enough and superbly located, there were a few issues that reduced what should have been a 4 star review to a 3. The room was small but adequate, no great problem with that, it is Paris after all. However, Paris was very hot and there was no air conditioning in the room, not even a...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
