200 yards to Gare du Nord [Eurostar]. clean, well decorated, helpful staff, typical continental breakfast and comfortable beds. 20 minute walk to Sacre Coeur and Monmartre, convenient for RER and Metro. Would certainly be my first choice for any future visit to Paris.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Avalon in April 2017 and it was a very cosy hotel with great service - we stayed in room 22 that was more like an apartment complete with a kitchen, bathtub, fast wifi and a big screen tv. our room was on a side street so quite for being in a busy part...

Stayed here one night as close to Gare du Nord. While the room was bit small, that is Paris! The check in was friendly and the room was clean, bathroom modern and room quiet. Convenient for walk to Montmatre during the afternoon and then an easy Metro ride down to the Seine for dinner and a 7 minute walk to...

I paid about A$350 for a separate room for our daughters (for 2 nights). They didn't want to share a room with us. Our room was a decent size but OMG the room my girls got was a tiny shoe box. Barely any space between the two single beds. Their suitcases were hard up against the wall and still touching...

Whilst we received early check add habe stayed here previously it would be our last time. The room we had was ridiculously small. Not coffee/ tea making and the lifts very dodgy meaning constantly using stairs. Very noisy but it's the room size that got us. Close to a lot of restaurants and gare du nord make it ideal to...

The first time we stayed here was a completely different experience to the one we had week ago. This trip, upon arrival Jamal on reception did not acknowledge us for a few minutes and when he did he seemed completely disinterested. Our room was shocking, it was grubby and the bathroom smelt badly. There were no tea of coffee making...

We had the worst experience we have ever had while traveling. My husband, grandson and I arrived into Paris following a 10 hr flight and arrived at Vintage Hostel where we were told we would have to move to a "3 star" hotel. This hotel was Avalon. We carted our luggage for another 20 min as we attempted to find...

Great hotel close to Gare du Nord. We were upgraded when we arrived and the room was nice and had a kitchenette. If I ever go again I'll definitely be back here. Stayed a week and had a pleasant stay - the rooms are clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

We had picked this hotel due to the location as it's just a two minute walk from Gare Du Nord station. The area itself isn't very pretty, but convenient for transport. The hotel itself is basic. The room was cold, damp and not very cosy at all. The walls are so thin, I got no sleep at all because I...
